China is keen on expanding economic and trade cooperation with Ireland while aiming for mutually beneficial results, Chinese President Xi Jinping told the Irish prime minister on Monday, positioning stronger bilateral ties as a way to also boost relations with the European Union.

This is all based on anti-Americanism. The EUSSR was founded specifically to be against the USA, so they’re looking for like-minded allies.
Good. Let them take our place in NATO. It’s past time for us to leave NATO and pull all of our troops and equipment out of Europe. No more being the EU’s sugar daddy.
Being in NATO does not entail that. Only since the 1990s has it meant something like that, when Clinton let the EUSSR take over its military operations and drag us into their Balkans conflict.
Take note that over there, they call their increase of military spending and development “rearming”. As if they were the same entity we fought in WWII.
