Iran, Hezbollah condemn, Russia offers mediation after US operation on Venezuela

Iran, Colombia, Hezbollah, and Russia condemned the military operation performed by the United States in Venezuela on Saturday, where US special forces troops captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, while major US allies like Germany, Spain, and Italy said they were following the situation closely.

Iran, an ally of Venezuela, said that the military attack on Venezuela was "a blatant violation of its national sovereignty and territorial integrity."

Hezbollah stated that it "condemns the terrorist aggression and American thuggery against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela" and "further affirms its full solidarity with Venezuela - its people, presidency, and government - in confronting this American aggression and arrogance."

Russia's Foreign Ministry also addressed the situation: "In the current situation, it is important... to prevent further escalation and to focus on finding a way out of the situation through dialogue."

Now to remove the criminal rulers from California, Minnesota, Illinois, and New York.

Putin should study this - much better cost/benefit ratio than his efforts in Ukraine.

I wasn’t really sure about the raid until reading they condemned it.

Heh. Think about it:

Multi-level chess.

Merely ‘just one’ aspect: A bargaining chip to end the uke war that doesn’t involve US long range/precision weapons destroying Russian targets.

Love it, but I’d be more satisfied to see hearings and prosecutions over obviously more serious matters at home.

Right now, this all smacks of a rather convenient distraction even though this is exactly what I like to see (i.e., going after the cartels).

When you look at who’s condemning the US, you know we took the correct action.

Since Maduro is not the legally elected president of Venezuela, then all bets are off. He’s just a drug lord who has illegally taken over a country. Fair game.

I’m sorry Russia, Maduro is currently unavailable to mediate with. But if you call back in about five days, he will be.

Five days being about how long it will take. NY, Lefty, Federal Judge to release him and de facto start running our foreign policy.

More than that, much of the financing that Iran and its daughters Hezbollah and Hamas were furnished by Venezuelan oil and drug money. They both had a large presence there and it was the center of their Western Hemisphere influence operations. What will become of those efforts?

Somehow Hezbollah using the term thuggery about someone else is an oxymoron with their history.
