An award-winning NHS nurse has been struck off after sharing anti-immigrant posts online saying that 'foreigners' who come to Britain will end up 'being your rulers'.
Roberta Batchelor was stripped of her licence after a disciplinary panel concluded a series of her social media posts 'sought to cause offence to immigrants...and those of Muslim faith'.
She bizarrely claimed to have been acting out of anger over the Labour government's cuts to winter fuel allowance and was 'caught up in all the unrest in the country'.
It proved an ignominious end to a career spanning 40 years at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, which had seen Mrs Batchelor work her way up from a cleaner to managing a ward.
In 2015, she won a 'pride of nursing' award in Birmingham.
The senior nurse was also regularly trotted out by the hospital to speak about her work in interviews, including a 13-minute Instagram video posted on the trust's account in which she celebrated diversity. It has since been deleted.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) heard Mrs Batchelor's anti-immigrant posts began in August 2024 and included sharing an image of Arab men chasing a child with a knife.
Its caption said: 'Next time when you pay your taxes, remember that some of your money goes to the "protection of Mosques".'
Another post included a split image showing a boat filled with people arriving at the beach captioned 'these give nothing and get everything' and a homeless veteran captioned 'these give everything and get nothing'.
A third post claimed to highlight a section of the Bible, stating: 'Foreigners who live in your land will gain more and more power, while you gradually lose yours.'

President Trump should issue her a nursing license in the US pending review of her college transcripts and experience. He should then offer her a job at Walter Reed.
How is that claim bizarre? Seems perfectly reasonable to me. The Daily Mail shouldn't insert words based upon subjective "fee-elings" without immediately providing objective evidence, viz. "Her claim is objectively 'bizarre' for the following 12 reasons. Firstly..."

It’s very Soviet of Briain to do this. “Only an insane person would criticize our policies, and we certainly don’t want insane people entrusted with the care of others.” Do they look at her record of care? No, it’s purely an ideological test.
I didn’t know England produces anything. I’ve never seen anything with a label made in England.
That will start a flood of Brits. I don’t know if you’re aware but Britain is toast. The whole place is one big raging dumpster fire and they’re all running out of the place.

You have people dying due to lousy medical care/access to such care and you take an award-winning medical person off the books for speaking the truth - all to appease those who want to erase your heritage/history/way of life. Churchill and the brave men and women who helped save the world in WWII are rolling over in their graves.
It seems this lady has done a service to her country that many don’t seem to recognize. Having her here in this country would be fine I think. She has every right to speak out about Islam.
Save your ancient kingdom and people.
Restore the monarchy.
Cast out the evil antichurch of the neurosyphilitic Henry VIII. Banish all them and all collectivists. Restore the Church in England.
Establish a written Constitution and Bill of Rights, making free speech paramount.
Seal the borders and expel the treasonous.
Moratorium on immigration.
Liberate your kingdom.
But I have little faith in the English to do anything at this point but surrender and trundle willingly like sheep into the squeeze chutes.
