Loud explosions, accompanied by sounds resembling aircraft flyovers, were heard in Caracas around 2:00 am (06:00 GMT) Saturday, an AFP journalist reported.
The explosions come as US President Donald Trump, who has deployed a navy task force to the Caribbean, has raised the possibility of ground strikes against Venezuela.
Thick columns of black smoke also rose over the city’s skyline.
On Monday, Trump claimed a strike had been carried out against a "docking facility" in the country, though today’s blasts appear to be centered within the capital's metropolitan core rather than on the coast.
Looks like full invasion, chinooks and so on.
Oh, God. As a former Boeing engineer who worked on Chinooks (DAFCS) my prayers go out to their safety.

I read that Maduro took 5 Americans into custody. Maybe to use them as bargaining chips.
I wonder if u s. is trying to rescue them. Maybe create a distraction in Caracas.....maybe bombing close to Maduro family compound? The voters in venezuela know they got cheated in election. Knocking Maduro out of power along with henchman probably the goal. Maybe smuggling arms to anti cartel forces....lots of stuff going on which I for certain know nothing about....can only guess( and poorly at that)

We didn’t know Tren de Argua was that embedded in our country during the election. We didn’t know the extent of criminal illegal criminality, We didn’t know the extent of Somali fraud, didn’t know about 315,000 bad ballots in Georgia, lots of things we didn’t know.

Don’t be like Carter and sit passively for months “negotiating”. Then do a futile rescue mission.

I heard we destroyed their shipping ports. Maybe we invaded them first...brought in special forces and weapons...then destroyed the ports and their ready to ship drugs...then moved on inland to rescue the Americans...join up with rangers and delta forces, etc to rescue the Americans...completely unknown to me...
