France threatens to arrest Britons who stop migrant crossings

France is threatening to arrest British activists trying to stop migrants leaving French beaches on small boats bound for England.

Sources close to Laurent Nunez, the French interior minister, said he wanted to see the Britons arrested for possible obstruction and aggravated violence.

It follows a series of vigilante-style actions by Britons from the Raise the Colours movement, which encourages the widespread public display of flags bearing the Union Flag and St George’s Cross.

Raise the Colours activists have published videos online of what they describe as “civilian border control” or “Operation Stop the Boats”.

The films show them wading into the sea, shouting at migrants and allegedly slashing small boats and their engines before they can be used for Channel crossings.

The group claims that they have been forced to take matters into their own hands because the French and British authorities are failing to take the tough action needed to stop the boats.

However, they now face arrest, with senior French politicians said to be furious at the unauthorised and potentially illegal actions on French territory.

A source close to Mr Nunez told La Voix du Nord newspaper that he “demanded that the members of these groups be able to be identified, arrested in case of action and that measures of obstruction be considered”.

According to the newspaper, the prefecture in the Calais region said it had responded to the Britons’ actions by taking “follow-up and coordination measures at different levels: local, zonal and national”. However, it did not specify the details for security reasons.

However, ministerial sources indicated that the French government was not satisfied that it was being effective in tackling the threat.

Put a fork in the UK and France, they’re done.

France has been gone for a long time. Germany along England is well along the way. The United States of America is right behind England.

Of the three, the United States has the potential to turn things around. But I seriously doubt they will. The Ruling Elite, the main stream media, and the politicians are against stopping the muslims from taking control.

Can they stop the illegal aliens when the are 30 yards off shore, without being arrested?

Is it an invasion or not?

AND

Can Soros and his demons be sued for buying the boats that allow the invasion...if it’s an invasion?

The Left is going to wait until we forget about how bad they are so we will vote for a leftist politician like Gavin Newsom to the White House. Then it's game over.

We lucked out with the Biden Administration. They made many mistakes.

The next time, we won't be as lucky.

By allowing unrestricted maritime travel to Britain, France is no doubt violating long established visa/travel agreements, which in this context could be construed as a deliberate act of war/sabotage.

Well,
these people are leaving France!
French are happy!
These dumm Britons are trying to stop them - too bad!

Mexicans were also rejoicing when all those crowds left for the USA!

The French just love unloading their junk onto the English.
Saves them a lot of money and helps reduce crime in France. And Starmer's tolerating it.

I feel like there is a parallel to Winston Churchill’s famous quotation:

‘Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few’

something like

“Never in the field of human conflict has one group of people been so much of a pain in the ass, inconvenienceing so many.

The Royal Navy needs to sink a few boats mid-channel and this will stop.

The distance from France to England across the English Channel (La Manche) varies, but the narrowest point, the Strait of Dover, is only about 21 miles (34 km) from Cap Gris-Nez, France, to Dover, England, while the entire Channel is around 350 miles long and 150 miles wide at its broadest.

France currently claims a control area of 200 miles, 370 kilometers off their coast. This means that in some areas they are claiming control of British land that is less than 200 miles from France. So how does Britain protect their coastline?
