A South Carolina man accused of drunk driving and stealing a patrol car vowed to take his case to President Donald Trump during a fiery spat at his bond hearing.
William Waters allegedly stole the patrol car from the QuikTrip gas station in Spartanburg County on Saturday night while suffering from an apparent mental health crisis.
Waters, 34, appeared before a judge on Monday, facing charges of grand larceny, failure to stop for blue lights and driving while under the influence.
As the judge read the charges out, the suspect repeatedly interrupted, accused the judge of lying and refused to sign any necessary paperwork, WHNS reported.
'Y'all feed me this garbage, feed lies and put this c**p on TV,' Waters told the judge.
The judge ignored his remarks and set his bond at $20,922.
'I don't have no bond,' Waters spat back, before reiterating that he was 'not signing any of the warrants.' The judge, dismissing him again, replied: 'I understand that.'
'I'll contact Donald Trump if I have to,' Waters responded, before being escorted out of the courtroom.
Waters led sheriff's deputies on a chase through three counties before he surrendered himself to police and was arrested.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation and later booked into the county jail, WBTV reported.
At least two deputies were injured during the incident, according to police.
One was struck by the open driver's door and dragged along the road when Waters first commandeered the patrol car. The officer was not seriously hurt.
Another was airlifted to a hospital after a deputy's vehicle crashed during the multi-county chase. The officer is expected to make a full recovery.

I doubt his net worth is big enough for Trump to care. If you look at the people Trump pardoned lately, it's a lot of winners who made a fortune and were railroaded by a corrupt system.

Does the officer realize how close he and the rest of the precinct cops came to humiliation had the perp stolen the patrol car from the donut shop lot?
Reporter outside: "One more bite of the chocolate sprinkle iced goodness of the donut and this officer was running outside to see his patrol car laying rubber as a man took it for a joyride."
If he were Col. Sanders I would ask why at KFC you can order a 2 piece or 3 piece chicken tenders a la carte but you MUST order a combo with side and drink to order a 4 piece one.
