A group of Western and allied states issued a joint statement condemning the Israeli security cabinet’s approval of 19 new communities in Judea and Samaria, stating that the move was "part of a wider intensification of the settlement policies in the West Bank."
The statement, issued by Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Iceland, Ireland, Japan, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, and the United Kingdom, described the decision as a unilateral action and claimed that such steps "not only violate international law but also risk fueling instability."
According to the statement, the decision risks undermining "the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan for Gaza amid efforts to progress to phase 2" and could harm "prospects for long term peace and security across the region."

Jews moving back to Jewish land that was occupied by Jordan from 1948-1967. How could that be a problem for anyone far away in Europe?
AMEN!
“How could that be a problem for anyone far away in Europe?”
Riot insurance. Low premiums (just “condemn” stuff), very few benefits. Riots happen anyway.
Wonder if these countries pitched a bitch when the American settlers went west and formed towns across areas many times bigger than the west bank? I guess freedom to create a community of like thinking people only goes one way.

Japan’s one of the countries. How’ve they been treating the Ainu lately?
weren’t they wiped out?
Indeed. What makes them think it’s any of their business anyway?
Yeah it’s terrible, they might build schools and Hospitals and community housing.
They never seem to get upset with the muslims take over places and drive out thw locals.
those ‘western states’ can GTH!
local zoning in a foreign country is none of their d***ed business and they know it
Ask these countries how many Palestinians they’ll take for residency and citizenship.
Too many in Europe forget and ignore that the Arabs of the area had a UN authorized two state plan that they all - across all the Arab countries - rejected in 1948, and then multiple times after that tried to destroy independent Israel, which was in fact an extension of their rejection of a two state solution. When their multiple direct wars did not succeed they used the “Palestinians” to maintain the Arab belligerence against Israel.
Israel has every right now to do anything it can to help prevent ANY future existential threat to its existence.
The Arab people of the area have only their own leaders to blame, in 1948, 1967, 1973, 1987, 1993-1994, 2000, 2005 and ever since. At all times the Arab leaders put some form of the destruction of Israel as the priority over peace with Israel. Israel has been given no concrete indication from the Arabs of Palestine that that has changed.
Jews moving into a land that has been inhabited by Arabs for over a thousand years. You do not see the problem with that?
Turkish troops may be needed to keep the Gaza peace.
Who cares what the Euroweenies think
Their own countries are headed for third world status!
No, they stopped trying to do that, and trying to Japanise them, and now they’re celebrating their culture, which is a weird, but harmless thing, except for the bizzarre tattoos.
What are Judea and Samaria named after?
When were those names established?
Before and during which Jews remained in their homeland.
