I don’t know too many Billionaires in order to make a proper comparison for their generosity. Next time I see one, I’ll ask him about his private donation habits. I’m sure he will answer me right away.

I don’t want to take anything away from the gesture, but consider the satellites are orbiting over the entire Earth. Over much of the Earth, the oceans and poor countries, there is a huge amount of unused bandwidth available. It cost nothing to make that bandwidth available over poor countries.
As far as giving stuff away, the government gives tax credits to encourage it.

There are a quite a few female philanthropists too. Including:
Abigail Disney is one. She has given away most of her $120. Dollar fortune to worthy causes.
MacKenzie Scott, ex wife of Jeff Bezos. MacKenzie has given away over $26 BILLION Dollars in grants.
There is Taylor Swift, who just last week gave over $197. Dollars in bonuses to everyone now working on her performance tour. She has given much more directly to other causes over the years. Taylor has no formal Foundation yet.
120 bucks is hardly a fortune.

Philanthropy or Activism?
Scott indicated early on that her philanthropy would be heavily influenced by her poltical views. In her initial round of grants, she pledged:
$586 million to “racial equity,”
$46 million to “LBGTQ+ equity,”
$133 million to “gender equity,”
$72 million to “functional democracy” funding, and
$125 million to fighting “climate change.”
Now that we know, grants are for NGOs which are used to support the Democratic Party.
In reality, millionaires and billionaires are not "philanthropists". They get a tax write off for supporting the Democratic Party.
The endless leftist and baseless name-calling have morphed reaction to once mortifying accusations into “Yeah. Whatever.”
Don’t need to compare to other billionaires. Ask about %age. Then, go to a commie trash millionaire : Bernie, for example.
