Reports indicate the suspected gunman in the Brown University shooting has died by suicide. Authorities have not yet officially confirmed the information.

I’m watching local news and no mention of the shooter being dead.
I read today that the woman who was killed was shot in the head 10 times, so it seems she was the one targeted, there is also a report that the Brown killings are connected to the slaying of an MIT professor:
“Nuno F.G. Loureiro, a 47-year-old professor of nuclear science and engineering and director of MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center, was fatally shot at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts, on Monday, December 15, 2025, and died the following morning at a hospital.”
So sad, so many shootings lately!
I hope the families are able to find solace during this terrible time.
