A truck driver in the country illegally has been released on a $100,000 bond after a fatal wreck in Washington late last week.
25-year-old Kamalpreet Singh, of Elk Grove, California was arrested on Thursday, December 11th after a crash on SR 167 in King County, Washington. He was released on $100,000 bond on Sunday, December 14th.
According to Auburn Examiner, Singh crashed into the back of a Mazda sedan that was stopped just behind a Peterbilt on northbound SR 167 south of SR 18. The force of the impact crushed the Mazda between the two semi trucks, killing the motorist, 29-year-old Robert B. Pearson. Pearson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police investigating the incident say that Singh attempted no evasive action before the crash and did not hit the brakes. Singh had also falsified his logbook before the crash by listing a co-driver. Officers also found other electronic data that indicated the logbook had been falsified.
Singh was booked on charges of vehicular homicide and was given a $100,000 bond. Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash. The cause is still under investigation.
Investigation revealed that Singh was arrested by Border Patrol in Arizona back in December 2023 but was released back into the country illegally. It is unclear if Washington state ignored an active ICE detainer against the truck driver by releasing him from custody. Washington is a sanctuary state.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) assistant secretary Tricia McLaughlin has recently criticized Washington state’s sanctuary policies.

No Khalsas?
I would assume he will probably self deport to India to avoid trial.
I would guess you are correct.
Which would mean that someone is going to be out $100K.
I and most of the people I know don't have that kind of money to give to the State of Washington.
Obviously this young Sihk knows someone willing to give away big money so a murder can go home to India.
Do you have any idea who would do such a thing?
Was he “illegally released” or was he in the country illegally? The elements of style, Strunk and White.

He should be executed.
I saw the dashcam video of this.
WHO GAVE HIM BOND $$$$$$$$$$$?
Well, considering how Indians both here and in India circled the wagons around the u-turn Indian I’d bet the Sikh community easily put together the 100,000 to spring him.
Who was foolish enough to bail him out?
“Who was foolish enough to bail him out?”
Those in charge of the laundered demoncrat money that they stole from US taxpayers.
"of Elk Grove, California"
There are many people and foundations contributing funds to orgs dedicated to getting the guilty out of jail.
Well he’s in the wind now...
Probably hopped a plane to Bombay.
“I’d bet the Sikh community easily put together the 100,000 to spring him.”
10K if they have a bail bondsman foolish enough to post bond for him.
I’m leaving on a jet plane
Don’t know if I’ll be back sgain
