Elon Musk Just Became The First Person Ever Worth $600 Billion
I thought I read a while back that he was worth $1T. However, he will probably be worth that easy once SpaceX goes public.
It’s not just the amount, it’s the fact that THIS country, despite everything that could be done better, provided an environment where a smart and motivated person could amass such a fortune. And not by flipping real estate or trading pieces of paper, but by actually manufacturing things that people saw value in, and were willing to buy.

If ( God forbid ) the stock market tanks, Elon won’t be worth that much any longer.
Case in point — Larry Ellison of Oracle. He briefly overtook Musk to be the world’s richest man. After Oracle shares tumbled over 40% because of major concerns about their AI data center build outs, Larry Ellison is currently ranked as “only” the world’s third-richest person, with an estimated net worth of about $248–258 billion, after losing roughly $25 billion in a single day due to Oracle’s stock plunge.
This could happen to Elon Musk too.

He should give me $50 to take out any GOP couple that doesn’t vote. They can pick out the not-so-fancy restaurant and I’ll pick up the difference. They can offer to pick up the tip. We meet up, discuss the importance of 2026 and hope they run with it while I keep in constant touch. Elon gives $1 billion. If my math is right that would amount to 2O million ‘dinners’.
Hell-give US ALL $100 to do it. Think of what 10 million of these brunches would do in competitive districts.
Feel free to correct my math. Even if I’m over by one zero we don’t need that many. Zukerberg gave only half that. Since it would only take 100k voters to turn an election a hundred bucks times 100,000 would be $10 million. No need for a billion and Musk has the money.
A trillion here a trillion there, soon you’ll be talking about real money!
That is plenty of money to start a new party with if the Republicans decide to stray from the MAGA agenda.
