Trump and Putin ‘Play the Pipes of Peace’ as Zelensky Sings ‘Burn Baby Burn’
American Thinker ^ | December 13, 2025 | By D. Padgett Blakley, Richard Blakley

In contrast to the warmongers, President Trump has continuously said, “I want everybody to stop dying.”

So, what’s preventing peace? Russian President Putin offered peace December 25, 2022, January 6, 2023, and again on June 14, 2024, with TASS reporting Putin offered “another real peace proposal to Kiev,” stating, “These parameters were generally agreed upon by everyone back during the Istanbul talks in 2022.” Yet, all of these proposals were rejected by Zelensky, the Biden administration, and the Brennen-infested CIA.

Remember, this mess started in 2014 with Biden and the CIA in Kyiv toppling the duly elected pro-Russian president of Ukraine, because he wouldn’t join the EU after President Putin threatened tariffs to protect Russia’s economy from the influx of cheap goods. Also, Putin had a prior agreement with the ousted president of Ukraine to use Crimea as one of Russia’s two warm water ports. With the 2014 fall of Ukraine, Crimea appointed its own government that voted to join Russia. Thus, Russia took Crimea without firing a shot.

Beginning January 2021, the Biden administration refused to talk to President Putin concerning Ukraine’s January 2021 request for NATO membership saying, Ukrainian NATO membership concerns were a non-starter for negotiations, which ultimately led to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, with Biden a year into the war stating, Ukraine is “not ready” to join NATO.

Note: George H.W. Bush, former director of the CIA, prior to being Reagan’s vice president, in 1990 told Soviet Premier Mikhail Gorbachev, “If we maintain a presence in a Germany that is a part of NATO, there would be no extension of NATO’s jurisdiction for forces of NATO one inch to the east.” Yet, since then, NATO has added 14 countries east of Berlin, obviously irritating Putin.

I finished watching Ken Burns’ Franklin this morning.

The issue of reparations for the Revolutionary War came up.

In the end, there were none.

Ken Burns’ films indicated the British were only capable of holding major port cities: Boston, Newport, New York, Charleston, Savannah.

The Brits were forced to give up Philadelphia.

The Revolutionary War wound up mainly being fought in the South to provide a food supply for the British sugar islands.

What complete nonsense! Putin demanded surrender; he did not offer peace. He could have peace by just stopping to attack Ukraine and pulling his troops out. Remember that Zelensky offered a ceasefire along the present lines. It was Putin who has repeatedly rejected this and demanded a settlement that would essentially make Ukraine a Russian subject state.

Just a reminder -- whatever else can be said -- Ukraine HAS been destroyed.

Between those who left and those killed, there are not enough Ukrainians for a productive peacetime economy.

Plans to replace them with Africans has already been openly discussed. That is of course contingent on Ukraine "winning". And 100% correct observations about Putin being a bad guy does not change that.

Also keep in mind that is what the governments of western Europe are doing to their own working class.

The USA should unconditionally just get out of Europe. That includes all Cold War era bases.

Aren’t you a peacemaker when you start an unprovoked war with a country just to take them over?

How do you not know something so simple?

And isn’t it a symbol of “freedom” to erect statues in the conquered territories of brutal communist/Soviet dictators who oppressed those areas in the past?

NATO expansion was the clintons’ doing! Then they used NATO expansion to launch the Kosovo war! That could have ended in WW3!

Dear Lord, bring real peace to Europe and the Middle East! Amen.

ROTFLMAO!

Nothing like working for Putin.

How much does it pay?

If only Kyiv would surrender there would be peace and good will toward men. And Russians wouldn’t have to keep killing them and blowing up their cities.

Meanwhile all that time Russia maintained a prison-island 80 miles off the US coast, attempted to build a bomber base on Grenada, tried to establish a navy base in Nicaragua, and helped jack up virtually every country in Central and South America.

Man, the Ukrainian propagandists were on this post like stink on poop.

No matter - we’ll listen to them cry as The Russher takes its goals by force of arms - while Maserati Zelya’s sources of funding dry up.

Hopefully, the Eurostupids continue to pour billions of Euros into the Ukraine black hole, grabbing the Russhink frozen assets, while destroyink Euroclear and Belgium at the same time.

The kid sellink lemonade on the corner wouldn’t invest a dime with Euroclear after the piracy goes down.

“Sorry, kid - Tatters told us that you’re a bad egg -so we got to steal your investment.”

Whotta clown show!

Not to worry, Ukrainians can keep dying and losing cities and land until they surrender or don’t exist.

Superman, Batman and the rest have failed Ukraine and the movie fantasy isn’t ending well.

… Arafat’s ability to stay at the top of Fatah and the PLO in Lebanon [in 1971] was the result, at least in part, of the support he received from the USSR. Soviet interest in Arafat was motivated largely by his success in organizing and motivating his terrorist followers. The Soviet Union’s Cold war agenda required someone with just those talents to expand and develop the terror arm of Soviet activity in the Third world, and especially in the Muslim world. Within a few years, Russian-trained PLO operatives were manning a dozen terror-training camps in Syria and Lebanon, and deploying terror cells across the globe from Germany to Nicaragua, Turkey to Iran.
By 1973, Arafat was a Soviet puppet (and would remain such until the fall of the USSR). His adjutants, including Mahmoud Abbas, were being trained by the KGB in guerrilla warfare, espionage, and demolition; and his ideologues had gone to North Vietnam to learn the propaganda Tao of Ho Chi Minh.…

Ukraine wants an assisted suicide and Russia is happy to oblige.

Only the press-ganged Ukie peasants.

The Ukie oligarchs in Monaco want you to get out the way of their Maseratis, so they can get down the the docks near their super-yachts, where TexasGator is waiting to detail their newest ride.
