In October, the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division sent a letter to the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections (BRE) requesting review of the election records from the 2020 election. These records had been previously ordered to be retained beyond the requirements of 52 USC 20701 due to pending litigation.
Sheri Allen, the chairperson of the Fulton County BRE, obtained outside counsel, without submitting it to a vote of the Board, to respond to the DOJ that the records requested were not beholden to 52 USC § 20701 and, even if they were, they were not in the possession of the BRE but rather in the custody of the Fulton County Superior Court’s Clerk’s Office.
The outside counsel she hired was the former law firm of Charlene McGowan, general counsel to the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office.

Today, the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against Che Alexander, the Fulton County Clerk of the Courts, after sending a “written demand to the Fulton Clerk for the production of specific election records pursuant to 52 USC 20703.” The suit seeks to declare the defendant is in violation of Title III of the Civil Rights Act and to order the defendant to provide the records within five days of a court order

I don’t have much confidence in our DOJ after the Comey Letitia debacle. What an embarrassment. Not a fan of Bondi.
Bondi is useless
Why doesn’t the DOJ find a way to arrest these election officials.
Fulton county is so corrupt its unbelievable!
