On the heels of Minnesota’s still-unfolding massive social services fraud scandal, a whistleblower is exposing a similar scheme occurring among the Ohio Somali community, which she says dates back over a decade and totals millions in stolen taxpayer dollars.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Mehek Cooke, an Ohio attorney and conservative commentator, said that "Minnesota was just the tip of the spear."
She said that providers within the Ohio Somali community have confided to her that they have been pressured to join in a "massive" Medicaid fraud scheme that involves doctors "rubber stamping" home health care payouts to the family members of elderly individuals for fake medical conditions.
She explained that scammers in the community have been exploiting a loophole in Ohio’s Medicaid program that allows individuals to receive Medicaid payments, totaling as much as $91,000 per year per individual, for care they are supposedly providing to a family member. Doctors who approve these payments in turn receive kickbacks themselves, according to Cooke.

Rumors have been around since at least sept 2000 that they have many children from multiple wifes, they only bring one wife here, the others stay in Europe (I say Europe because many Somalis are Europe’s Somali refugees but immingrants in Europe automatically qualify for European passports therefore arer able to visit and USA without a VISA and they overstay their time limited visit), they know the max number of dependents you can claim on your taxes, example if the limit is nine and one family has 11 dependents and another in same complex only has 7 dependents the one with 11 will let the family with nice use the 2 extras to get to the max amount of dependents. Somalis will also go as far as claim their children livinf in Europe with their other wives on their US income taxes.

How would an elderly individual find out if some doctor was supposedly treating him/her who actually was not? I have two doctors who are actually treating me. How do I find out if others are SUPPOSEDLY treating me?

Fire? Not good enough, arrest them all, charge them with fraud & conspiracy, then extract the info from them for a barely reduced sentence.

If you read the article, as I did, it seems that under Ohio law the only check on receiving these benefits is a doctor.
The clerks only check the paper work apparently.
