Z’s Condition #1: I win
A seriously, sadly and amusingly accurate reading.
But consider the cognitive dissonance of many. Ukraine is 1) winning, but needs 2) more allies, money, weapons, backstops, no-fly zones and more. Russia is 1) losing / collapsing, and 2) ready to conquer Western Europe. These United States are 1) Europe's ally, and 2) Europe's "enemy." ( The latter said only the other day by a French MEP-ette and some German think tank guy). These United States are 1) aiding and 2) "betraying" Ukraine ( or the "willing coalition" of Starmer, Macron and Merz ).
What is certain: time will tell.
What is also certain: whatever the outcome, someone will be really, really pissed off.
He just has to wait for the voting machines from Venezuela before he can do the election.
One hundred years. Now that's optimism.
What are the conditions, no oversight?
It’s Ukraine parliament, the Rada, that needs to authorize new elections. So far, no go.
Z has been socialist trained by the US Dem party on how to “win” elections. He is now printing millions of ballots and warehousing them.

There is always an international oversight in Ukrainian election. Oversight is forbidden in Russian elections though.
Zelensky won last time with about 75% of the votes.
The polls now show that only 60% still trust him though.
Smart move by Zelensky to authorize elections. It means that Russia will have to stop bombing Ukraine during that time, and that America who pushed for elections will have to give Ukraine security guarantees.
Because Ukrainians CAN’T vote under permanent Russian bombardment.

Thought I saw somebody here was saying that the Ukraine’s constitution forbade elections during a time of war.
Posted the constitution a couple of times on various threads.

why doesn’t he just say, we held elections last last night and I got 100% of the vote
If we mounted Zelensky on a post, it might be safe for an American to turn his back on him.
