The Church of England is to launch a poster campaign aimed at challenging the anti-migrant message of Tommy Robinson, whose “Unite the Kingdom” movement has urged its supporters to join a carols event next weekend to “put the Christ back into Christmas”.
The posters, which will go on display at bus stops, say “Christ has always been in Christmas” and “Outsiders welcome”. They will also be available for local churches to download and display over the festive period.

The Rev Arun Arora, bishop of Kirkstall and co-lead bishop on racial justice for the C of E, said: “We must confront and resist the capture of Christian language and symbols by populist forces seeking to exploit the faith for their own political ends.”

When is someone going to mercifully pull the plug on the C of E? 500 years... you’ve had a colorful run, chaps, but it’s over...
Says the destroyer of British culture as it exploits the faith for it's own end. Do the clergy of England routinely set national political policy?

My protestant ancestors tried to put them out of business 400 years ago. Part of the issue back then was the pagan practices of the C of E at Christmas even back then. They are worse, now.
About 1% of the membership of the Church of England shows up to church on any given Sunday.
The C of E is indwelt by evil.

A perfect distillation of liberation theology, that has gone completely unconfronted and unresisted by clergy.
I suppose it goes by the name of liberation theology and social gospel in the US. Protestants and Catholics not exempt.
This is "Open Society" language. The speaker is the one doing this.
There is a very good book by R Reno, "The Return of the Strong Gods" that discusses the Open Society, its sources and failures. After
the 1st and 2nd WW, Western Leaders sought to re-educate society to remove nationalism and populism, which they viewed as responsible for the tragedies of the these wars. The Open Society seeks to remove metaphysics and Truth and allow Individuals to search and determine their own meaning in life. It advances this "Disenchantment Therapy" Through Critical and Reductive analysis.
An excellent book, althoug it is a difficult read because most of the content is fairly new to me, even though it is the history of my times.
