Colin Allred is dropping out of the 2026 U.S. Senate race in Texas to instead run for the U.S. House, saying that staying in the Senate race would hurt the Democratic Party’s chances of winning against one of President Donald Trump’s “bootlickers.”
“In the past few days, I’ve come to believe that a bruising Senate Democratic primary and runoff would prevent the Democratic Party from going into this critical election unified against the danger posed to our communities and our Constitution by Donald Trump and one of his Republican bootlickers Paxton, Cornyn, or Hunt,” Allred said Monday in a statement. “That’s why I’ve made the difficult decision to end my campaign for the U.S. Senate.”
Allred was planning to run against Sen. John Cornyn (R), who is up for reelection. He already ran for Texas’ other Senate seat last year, when he lost to incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz (R) by nearly 9 percentage points. Kamala Harris, then the Democratic presidential nominee, campaigned for him in Houston shortly before Election Day, and former Rep. Liz Cheney, a lifelong Republican, endorsed Allred because, she said, “You can’t trust Ted Cruz.”

Crockett has no problem with that.
She is perfectly comfortable with lying as her recent dustup regarding her comment about Lee Zeldin accepting money from Epstein. She knew completely that she was protected and could say whatever slanderous things she wanted (again, being black and female) explained coyly “I never said it was the politician Lee Zeldin, merely someone with that name.”
Scum of the highest order. But that is the standard of the Democrat party in 2025. They don’t even try to hide that anymore.
John Cornyn is not one of “Trump’s bootlickers”
Cornyn is a Roveist, one of the Bush clan who routinely betrays the voters. Get out da bushes. We need less Cornyns and more Paxtons.

TX needs to get rid of the backstabbing POS Cornyn, a scumbag of the Bush mold. The man to replace him is AG Ken Paxton. Unfortunately for Paxton his soon to be ex-wife is a GOPe state politician who has likely been promised favors by the Cornyn/Bush camp to make the divorce as messy as possible.
Cornyn is hated and Paxton has baggage. The Rats smell blood in the water.
Crockett vs. Paxton would be one of the most hate-filled election spectacles ever. Both are absolutely despised by the other side.
The difference is that Paxton’s alleged dirty laundry will get 24/7 air time, while Crockett will be portrayed by the media as Mother Theresa reincarnated.
Which would make Holy James Talarico (D) very sad, because this slimy shyster (who is a combination of Jimmy Swaggart and Bernie Sanders) surely believes HE is Mother Theresa reincarnated. The Democrat primary should be interesting, LOL.
You folks are missing something. If she loses the primary or the general election her career as well as her microphone are gone. We all know she’ll lose but does she? I think she’s not that dumb so that’s why I bring up the missing part in you all. I could always be wrong.

That’s hardly a given. The 3 Dallas-area ghetto districts have been reduced to 2 and there are (or were) 3 incumbents.
CD-33 incumbent Marc Veasey is running in the new CD-30 (Crockett’s old district) and Allred is running in the 33rd which Veasey is vacating. If Crockett wanted either of those districts for herself, it would be done.
Allred’s OLD ghetto district (CD-32) is the one being dismantled by Republicans, but the current Rat is running again there and will very likely lose next November because CD-32 has been changed to be about R+6 now.

Privately educated all the way up thru’ university. She was well spoken, bright and articulate in her prior innings !
