Secretary Burgum praises Trump's energy policies for boosting US oil and gas production

Gas prices across the United States have plummeted to their lowest levels in years, with many states seeing prices dip below $3 per gallon. Officials predict that prices could eventually fall to as low as $2 per gallon. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum attributed the drop to several factors, including the reversal of Biden-era regulations that had restricted access to public lands for oil and gas production.

"The big thing, of course, that Biden did was basically try to shut down access to public lands," Burgum said. He explained that the previous administration's policies had discouraged investment and drilling, raising production costs. In contrast, the Trump administration has opened up public lands, such as the National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska, for energy production, leading to record oil and gas production and exports.

Burgum noted that some states, such as California, continue to experience high gas prices due to their policies. "California is importing 63% of their energy from foreign countries," he said, highlighting the state's reliance on imported oil and gas.

Re-entry of the deported.

Jose Inez Garcia-Zarate, who killed Kate Steinle who died in her father’s arms at the pier in San Francisco, saying “Help me, daddy”, had been deported four times but he reentered the U.S. a fifth time in June 2009.

He was acquitted in court for killing her because she was struck by his ricochet shot, jurors decided. He still faced a gun law violation but that’s it.

He said: “I chose San Francisco because it is a sanctuary city and I knew nothing would happen to me there.”

One of the trashy clickbait online news sources yesterday called Burgum a “Trump stooge”.

If there is someone who is not a stooge it is Burgum.

Unfortunately, we in AZ, and, I suppose, people in NV, have not gotten any benefits from this.
We get most gas from CA, and so we are the innocent victims of Gov. Newsom stupid policies.

No high price gas without representation!

The lefties are actually spinning it.
Since gas in CA, WA and OR have gone UP, and in AZ and NV too, the whole nation average gas prices are not going down as much as they should.
“See, Trump policies are doing nothing for average gas prices in the US!”
