A woman who steered her car into a crowd of people protesting President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement policies in the Loop earlier this year has been sentenced to “second chance probation,” according to court records.
Judge Peggy Chiampas imposed the sentence after Deidre Kemp, 30, pleaded guilty to aggravated reckless driving causing bodily harm last week.
Prosecutors said Chicago police had already cordoned off much of the Loop for the anti-Trump demonstration when Kemp ignored officers’ verbal and physical attempts to redirect her. With her children in the car, she drove her 2003 Kia Spectra into the crowd near State Street and Monroe Street while shouting obscenities at officers, who chased her on foot.

Well said. on all sides there are opportunists who want to turn every event into a statement for their cause. Sometimes it is relevant to their cause, or half relevant. But many times random acts are irrelevant to the cause.
You are witnessing the destruction of the Republic.

GREAT headline there... No bias from this news outlet. It was just some out of control MAGA Trumper trying to kill anti-Trump protesters and NOT some angry black woman who was ignoring traffic closures and ignoring the cops and drove through a traffic barrier through a crowd marching to protect criminals.
This is what I suspect also.
She must have thought these were pro-Trump people she was running down. If there was any hint that she was targeting anti Trump people, she would have gotten the chair.
Maybe her GPS told her to go hard right.
