Almost 130 blades, consisting of spears, knives and swords, have been seized by police after they were all discovered at a single property in Warwickshire. Officers acted after concerns were raised about the horde.
Police have warned that law changes mean collecting weapons of this nature could lead to a hefty fine or even a stint behind bars.
A spokesman for Leamington Police said: "Now we can't claim to have seized all the knives pictured through proactive patrols during this #OpSceptre week however after concerns were raised to us earlier this week we have seized 129 bladed articles from a property in Whitnash which clearly in the wrong hands could have caused serious harm.
"In 2021 an amendment to the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 came into force making it an offence to possess a number of weapons in private as well as in public."
The police spokesman added: "This means that in most cases it is an offence to possess any of the above articles anywhere. If found guilty of possessing a weapon like this you can face up to 4 years in prison, an unlimited fine or both."

By the time my two sons were in their late teens, they both had enviable knife collections, from cheap junk to serious blades, a few were true collectors items with some historical significance including one from the Spanish American war.
Between them and I, oir collections were well over 250 knives.
Come and take them.
I know a couple of people with larger collections than this.

Yeah you can sharpen a toothbrush to make a shiv. So you have to brush your teeth with toilet paper.
Most of them appear to be WW1 and WW2 bayonets. Looks like somebody emptied an old Army Navy Surplus store. Items like this were common back in the day when you could buy surplus pistols for $17.50 and have them mailed to you.
