It’s all about the money in mineral wealth, upward of $14 trillion. That is what this war is about, no matter what they are saying otherwise.
There is no public will or national security reason for us to risk a single life in Ukraine or in a hot war with Russia.

Doubt it. This is 2025 not 1944. NATO v Russia will end up nuclear.

One can only imagine the impressive range Germany will get out of their eco-friendly electric tanks...which will take one month each to charge using their eco-friendly “renewable” energy generation.
Yes, I know, they’ve not yet gone that far with tanks, but never ever underestimate the left’s ability to ignore basic rules of physics.

Of course, Europe will have to persuade Russian beforehand that Russia would accept destruction without ever using its nuclear arsenal, whereby Europe would be evaporated in minutes.
Western Europe is getting ready to open a second front without addressing the home front.

Is this a joke? That’s a rhetorical question. The western media - the west in general - has gone full-clown.
You are right about the US public and war with Russia.
But the distinctions between the EU, NATO, and the US Command structure are way too fuzzy for my liking. There are US officers in what amounts to a NATO chain of command, there is even a NATO “parliamentary assembly” with representation from our House and Senate, which has links to the EU parliament in Strasbourg.
It’s clear that Europe’s warplan involves getting the US to fight Russia. The idea of Europeans doing it on their own is ludicrous.
But the ability of US command structure and especially US public opinion to stop it remains to be seen when the system is placed under stress.
