Gas price in south central PA has finally trickled down to $3.19...still higher than at Independence Day.
$2.59 at Buy-dung’s Inauguration and $3.55 at Trump 47’s.
Watch out for the anti Trump trolls here, lol.
Surprised, the gas station usually jacks up the price before a busy holiday.
The economic sabotage from the Democrats’ shutdown will have an effect. Change my mind
Gas is still $3/gallon here in NH.
It fluctuates about 10-15 cents then bounces right back up.
Mr. Trump, I stand opposed to your pro-gov’t approach to “MAGA”.
The only REAL and PERMANENT relief is the dismantling of the gargantuan, behemoth unconstitutional portion of the federal gov’t which is killing the economy and threatening our livelihood, wellbeing and freedoms of speech, religion, and successful and prosperous pursuits.
What made America great beginning in the 1900’s wasn’t the gov’t but the LACK of gov’t.
Individual freedom from gov’t overreach and coercion coming out of the 1800’s made America the freest, wealthiest, and most powerful nation in the world.
You, who are a intelligent guy that your posting shows and you know that President Trump has to deal with razor-thin majorities in both houses of Congress in order to get anything done of substance.
You also know that your purity test is impossible for President Trump to enact given the above.
Which means that you really are not on board where MAGA is concerned, and this is just a sophisticated approach of Never-Trumping.
You purposefully make the Perfect the enemy of the Good!
Hey Jim! Pro tip
Next time, vote for Harris
(Unless you have checked that off on your bucket list, which you probably have)
The TDS and Les Miserables Freepers are always near their keypads!
Gotta talk about taxes and the difference with and without the big beautiful bill
That’s a hell a lot of a “affordability right there
It’s about purchasing power. AFTER TAXES. Not just wages versus general inflation.
To Continue:
You have a long history of this behavior so the only conclusion I can arrive at logically is that you are a Troll here and are trying to divide and conquer true MAGA supporters by taking continual pot-shots at President Trump.
Knock it Off.
Either get on board, support President Trump, or go away!
Living it up at $2.89 in western Colorado. OPEC+ did this. They raised production in a crowded market. They used to make book by keeping supply low, keeping the price at a high profit level per unit sold. Now the world has adjusted to that somewhat and OPEC+ discovered that given their size and huge reserves, they can also dump product at a lower price and still make book by taking market share. OPEC+ will go back to cutting production when that condition will again lead to better profits.
At some point, we MUST dismantle the HUGE unconstitutional portion of the federal gov’t, the greatest threat to our lives and wellbeing.
When do we do that?
This is Trump’s second term.
NOW is the time to do that, just what DOGE began to do and stopped.
If not now, when?
My city cannot seem to budge from $3.29. It doesn’t go up, and it doesn’t go down.
Sorry, I supported Trump Trump because he loves America.
I think he loves America, but he thinks the road to MAGA is the gov’t.
No, that’s the road to serfdom.
Trump needs to rid himself of that part of his Democrat party background that is still clinging to him.
What are you for, freedom or a person?
Average regular gas price today is $3.069 nationwide. The average was $3.056 a year ago. The average is actually a hair higher now. (See below)
Average Diesel price today is $3.785 nationwide. A year ago it was $3.535. Again it is higher than last year. (See below)

Some of the increase can be attributed to fuel taxes. Kentucky and New York lowered their gas taxes in 2025. California, Illinois, Indiana, Washington, Virginia, Mississippi, Florida and Georgia all increased their taxes on gas in 2025.
Might not happen. Right now the fedgov has become a massive burden on the people. Not to mention the greedy SOBs at the local level governments choking people off with their ever increasing punitive property taxes.

Forgot to add: OPEC+ annual production (2023) 30.4 million barrels per day.
USA: 12.9 mbd
2023 are the latest numbers available. OPEC+ has turned up the taps since then.
