Was listening to Mark Mitchell and found it interesting that his polls confirmed some thoughts I had. One was worth mentioning here. Forgive me if I state it poorly.

The youth vote is upset at what their parents left for them. They look at the older generation as a burden and feel as if their economic future is in chaos.

They are supporting those politicians that will provide them some sort of order for the future and being young and foolish they are willing to support political authoritarianism.

You would think it was the opposite with the no kings event but they will vote for those candidates who take strong action and who they view will aggressively provide them with what they are looking for.

The question I guess is if the socialists will act alone in a vacuum of political ideas or will others challenge them with alternative solutions.

All things considered 47% is not bad. I would have expected worse given the relentless negative coverage.

Same here. Considering the wall-to-wall attacks and lies from the media and swamp, 47% is stellar.

I agree President Trump’s numbers look good for how the electorate is today.

47% is basically where Trump has been his entire presidency.

Rassmussen should be regularly posted at Freerepublic.

Freerepublic is mostly a bunch of old geezers.

Rassmussen gives a 360 view of the whole electorate.

I’ve heard Rassmussen say that the youts think (with a lot of justification—that their future was stolen from them.)

There will never be another President that will have over 50% approval. Things are just too polarized today.

In the last 20 years the national debt has increased about $30 Trillion. We should ask our kids and grandchildren if that is acceptable to them? And if not, what are they prepared to do about it?

Of course, since almost 50% of the US citizens pay no income taxes and the illegal immigrants pay little taxes the increase in debt will probably continue.

At least Trump has made an attempt to lower the debt. DOGE and Tariffs

Correct and it demonstrates the divide if we have an event like in 1776 where 25% were loyalist, 25% were patriots and the rest were neutral (fence sitters), except I think our numbers are more 35-40% conservative, 15% hard liberals, and the rest wind checkers and hope the just ride it out, IOW losers. I still feel that the majority of people are right of center in some measure and even some light lefties would either sit it out or be sympathetic to the patriot cause.

Numbers are my WAG input as examples.

The other problem is that the good people don’t want to get into the mud, especially if they have a successful life in the private sector, why give all that up and deal with all the crap you’re going to put yourself and your family through?

Does this just indicate 51% of American voters are completely clueless?

I like both Mark and Rich Baris

I think they’re getting bad data.

The main reason is voter registration shifts have not SLOWED ONE IOTA. For example, NC reported today a 7300 R net gain in one month. I could be wrong, but I think this officially flips NC to a RED STATE. In terms of “active” voter registrations, Rs lead by a whopping 108,000. NC will look like FL; while GA will begin to look like NC.

In short, none of these numbers in the past year show any sign at all of DemoKKKrats gaining ground, ANYWHERE.

Very few have the mensch some of our founding fathers had to give up everything to build this country. They were fugitives and them and some of their family had to be on the constant move and lost all their land and assets.

The strongest point for Trump and voting republican is a reminder of what democrats say they will do if they get control. They will open the border. They say that. And they will do that as it was open right before Trump closed it. They will put illegals back on the dole. Free healthcare, free school including college, free food, free rent. They will let the sex, children and drug trafficking continue. It was flourishing under Biden. Its being dismantled under Trump. The spending will increase and the debt will grow. You may say that Trumps debt is growing. But the democrats shut the government to make it grow far more. And the lack of transparency. You can argue that Trump has not been transparent. I agree. But the democrats are the ones who hid the information in the first place. The swamp is hiding all they can. They are putting road blocks everywhere. When the democrats get back in power all that changes. No Epstein files or Butler files or Kirk files. No deporting child rapists. No arrests of Antifa. You may not think Trump is doing things fast enough though he is doing far more than any other President. Far more than Reagan. You can want more. But putting democrats back in power is just getting less. Its reverting us back to Biden.

I guess the polling never stops, even this far from the next presidential race. Well, pollsters have to eat too.
The quest for lucratively monetized clicks shall continue.
