Butch and Sundance had more significant invasions than this.

Well yes most everywhere has heavily armed police in public view. Dominican Republic same story. Armed guards riding on the top of every 6th boxcar or so in Mexico. I saw a machine gun armed US LEO at Detroit Metro Airport the other day.

A “Captain” of a U.S. Navy ship can be an Ensign (O-1) or a non-commisioned officer.

“Contractors” = “US Troops.”
Yeah, got it.
So do Mexican cartels in the US killing American citizens constitute an invasion by “Mexican Troops”?

On some air bases the Air Force is on one side of the field and civilian aircraft use the other side of the field, with the control tower in the middle.
One day on just such a field the tower received a call from an aircraft asking, "What time is it?" The tower responded, "Who is calling?" The aircraft replied, "What difference does it make?"
The tower replied "It makes a lot of difference. If it is an American Airlines Flight, it is 3 o'clock. If it is an Air Force, it is 1500 hours. If it is a Navy aircraft, it is 6 bells. If it is an Army aircraft, the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 3.
If it is a Marine Corps aircraft, it's Thursday afternoon. If it's National Guard, it's still a couple of hours until quitting time."

So do Mexican cartels in the US killing American citizens constitute an invasion by “Mexican Troops”? Yup. Which is why I am so disappointed in this article. Mark me down as one who thinks we should go in, all empire like, and kill and destroy every cartel in that rancid failed nation. Venezuela, too.

Since when are ‘contractors’ US Troops? Or is Mejico the new Vietnam?
To: All
Well, well, well, so the Mexican security, militia, military, whatever they want to call themselves, can get their it together if needed.
Thank you to whoever got them to drive those signs into the beach. You have shown the Mexicans that their problems are on them and they are capable.
I saw the videos coming out of Mexico of them begging President Trump to come into Mexico with our military.
Mexico should ask or force their military aged men to come back home. lol

Yes us too back in 2002. Was at an all inclusive in Cancun. The Mexican military decided to make donuts in the sand at the resort.

The “Mexican Standoff” has entered the mainstream as a news item. In the olden days, if two cowboys got into a fistfight and one got whipped, he would not admit he got whipped, he would simply call it a “Mexican Standoff.”

FWIW, I had a Battery Commander who couldn’t read a map to save his life…shades of Captain Sobel in Band of Brothers. He was a great staff officer, but never should have been allowed near soldiers.
His XO reminded me of Dick Winters: cool, calm, always with the right decision. I was just another LT that thrived during field evaluations, it was “showtime” for me. I took 3 of our 4 platoons through their evaluations, always enjoyed the challenge.
49 years ago this month, I was jumping out of perfectly good airplanes at Fort Benning, Georgia.

Only Democrat Presidents invade Mexico (Polk, Wilson).

Who cares?
Mexicans have been invading America for decades and decades.
