He is toast. AOC will be the next Senator from NY replacing him.

Schumer is a typical career politician. He doesn’t care about ideology, the country, or it’s citizens. Schumer only cares about power and wealth. The rising commies in the Dem party care about ideology as well as power and wealth. With a communist government, they can secure their power in ways not as readily available now.
Schumer is old and in their way, he’s toast.

I agree...but who’s going to take his place? Compared to the Squad, he’s a moderate.

Why are they never willing to pass the torch and be remembered as great statesmen, but will stay until they fester and rot and thus despised.
Not that Schumer was either great, nor statesman, but like Sniffy, he’ll be remembered just as a failing old curmudgeon.

the five-term senator and nine-term representativeThat odious, parasitic turd has been in government his entire life (since 1975). He has never held a private sector job, and has been slithering around D.C. since 1981.
He can't be gone soon enough.

The article is devoid of any mention as to whom his replacement might be if he is ousted.
Others have ideas...
Ro Khanna identifies ‘dynamic’ leaders to replace Schumer (Politico)
On Sunday, Khanna praised some leading Senate Democrats, calling Sen. Chris Murphy (Conn.) a “top leader” and Sens. Cory Booker (N.J.) and Brian Schatz (Hawaii) “dynamic” as well as saying he “appreciates” the ideology of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.). Let the cat fights and jockeying begin.

He can regain his stature by filibustering the passage of the Epstein file release when it gets to the Senate.
