Just when you thought Trump would run and hide from all this Epstein stuff (see Epstein's 2018 email about Trump and Bubba), he's going all-in on releasing the files.

Now, in 2025, the president is calling for Congress to release the Epstein Files after trying to get everyone to move on from the Epstein Files earlier this year.
The reversal comes after a coordinated attempt by Democrats last week to smear Trump in connection with the files:

The House is expected to vote Tuesday on legislation that would compel the Justice Department to make public all materials related to the notorious case. The vote will happen despite the opposition of GOP leadership after a so-called 'discharge petition' received the required 218 votes last week.
The legislation must also pass the Senate and be signed by Trump himself.
President Trump, I'd like to remind you that if the route through the legislature doesn't work here, you could always get out one of those handy-dandy pens and do it yourself.

Article in large part is about his relationship to Clinton. New York magazine is essentially a DNC house organ.

Clinton: And boffing the underage bimbos.
That could be, but note the caveat to what he said: “whatever they are legally entitled to”. He knows the files will never be released in their entirety and the implicating stuff will be denied using whatever it takes. One thing is clear by now: powerful people and entities will continue to be protected because they are too big to jail.
