Your 78 sounds perfect. We’ll have mid to upper 70s Saturday, they say, with low 70s Thursday and Friday. Otherwise, we have 60s before and after in the 10-day forecast. I can live with that. :-)
I think at that moment I would have thrown up my toenails. LOL! 🤢
60s aren’t bad either. I can live with them. Maybe wear a light sweater instead of a t-shirt, but yeah. Much better than the mid-80s, which it’s gonna be for the rest of this week. Monday, we’ll cool back down to the 70s. What a tease November has been!
I’m quite happy with 60s for highs. A lot of 50s for lows and that works too.
Mid 80s is a bit much for November. I feel for ya. And the kitties. They’re never going to get good winter coats in time.

That’s what I always worry about...the kitties getting very cold from a lack of winter coat. The self-heating pads help a LOT. Grey stays in hers most of the night, and comes out when I open the door to feed them in the mornings.
That little 2nd cottage should be here in the next Wednesday. Well, the weather will be mostly warm up till then so it’s all good.
I’ll bet you’re really happy that those 20s didn’t last very long. OUR bodies aren’t aclimated either. LOL!

Sounds like you and I have the same thing going on tonight - - internet maintenance. I might get knocked off, might not. We’ll see.
Those self-heating pads are a plus for your kitties. And they have their hidey holes for shelter. Having the new cottage will be nice.
Yes, it’s nice not having 20s for lows for a while but it’s going to be colder tonight than last night. Already is. But it won’t get much colder.
If I disappear, it’s because they’re supposed to work on the internet tonight. I don’t know if they didn’t do it the last time they sent notice about but I got another notice Monday.
Drat. They don’t know that their best customer is a vampire! What are they thinking by closing things down just when you’re getting started!
The great thing about November is that no matter how warm it gets during the day, it cools down into the 50s at night. I sure sleep better because of that!
I don’t know if they weren’t able to do the work a week or so ago when we were notified or if this is additional work. I had no problems last time, anyway, and we’ll see how it goes tonight. At least we get a warning.
Mercy. I laid down for “just a minute” and went to sleep. I think that’s a sign I need to actually get into the covers for the night. So...see ya tomorrow. Hope you didn’t lose your ‘net!

Easy...When you hear “Bail, Bail, BAIL!”, unbuckle your seat belt, push open the canopy, go out onto the wing, jump as far from the aircraft as you can, and pull the ripcord.
Not like Skydiving at all.
