When dressing as a woman in the war-based sitcom M.A.S.H., character Corporal Klinger’s goal was expulsion from the military. It was taken as given back then (1970s), after all, that a man with such a compulsion had psychological issues. But times have changed. Now you may be punished if you take issue with a man in drag entering a women’s restroom.
And, in fact, this is exactly what’s happening to a hapless Georgia police officer.
Per PJ Media:
Tucker, Georgia, is an eastern Atlanta suburb, located in the ultra-woke Dekalb County, so this story may not come as a surprise….
It all started a few weeks ago with a man who identifies as a woman by the name of Sasha Swinson. He was at the Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library, a place he claims he frequents regularly, and had just used the bathroom. The women’s bathroom. When he stepped outside, a DeKalb County police officer allegedly told him that he needed to use the men’s bathroom next time as there were women and young girls in the other. As you can imagine, that didn’t sit well with Swinson.
“I use the restroom, the women’s restroom, like I have been for months, if not years,” Swinson told local news outlets. “He says, ‘Excuse me, sir.’ So, misgendering me right away, just goes, ‘But you’re not a woman. That’s obvious.'”
Below is a video of Swinson, perhaps reveling in the attention. Obvious is that he’s not even a good simulacrum of a woman. In fact, his voice is deeper than mine.
After the officer stated the obvious — Swinson’s maleness — the following transpired. As Decaturish reports (pronouns changed to make them correct and not politically correct):
Swinson tried to keep [his] composure and...

He could get a job as a deputy in a heartbeat in another county.
Bailiff. Whack his pee pee!
We are close to end times for real. No other way to explain this total inverse of facts. Up is down and down is up.
All law enforcement officers must believe the people they protect are worth it.
ICE agents are being threatened in WA, OR and CA plus IL by governors and mayors who want them brought into civil trials and potentially jailed.
Many cities have civilian review boards with ACLU and BLM style zealots out to find something wrong with any officers.
Cities are fortunate to find anyone willing to work in law enforcement.
Degenerate belongs in a mental institution
Not only is guy a “woman” but an ugly one too…
(In a deep voice) “..so misgendering me right away”.
How could the interviewer not burst out laughing ?
Now, had the cop said to the seriously mentally ill, delusional man, "Excuse me, you butt-ugly freak ..." well, arguably -- but only arguably -- that could be considered a tad harsh. However, the cop has a solid defense standing behind truth, reality and with the fact that he is sane (i.e., the cop does not pander to the angry sick).
I’d expect this in California or New York but Georgia? Georgia is going to Hell in a handbasket.
You assume “truth” and DeKalb County police leadership have anything in common.
Some of these “people” would be offended if someone said:
“Hey, You.”
Yes ThiHe could get a job as a deputy in a heartbeat in another county.s, “
Or even another state. Texas would welcome him
Hahahahahaha!
When I was in the USN back in the mid-late Seventies, I was on Shore Patrol in Naples, Italy and our duty was to make sure no American sailors went down Via Roma into that part of Naples since it was widely considered to be nothing but trouble for sailors inclined to trouble.
It was me and a 1st Class named Cook who had the nickname “Cookieman” (Who also happened to be my boss and probably 20 years my senior) got chased by an irate transvestite with a knife!
As we walked along, this transvestite comes at us, wearing some cheap, black plastic raincoat (guy looked a bit like Alice Cooper with his mascara running in the rain!) He is brandishing a knife, waving it in the air, yelling as he drunkenly staggered towards us.
I just stood there with my mouth open, and as I looked at Cookieman to ask what we should do, he just turned about and ran, so I turned and ran too. I have no idea what that transvestite was pissed off about (we called them “HeShe’s in the day) but it was screaming something at us in Italian. So we ran for a block or two laughing as we ran, then stopped to catch our breath.
While we were standing there, Cookieman had his hands on his knees, panting, and looked at me with with his twinkling blue eyes and a big grin and said:
“She looked like Grandma but talked like Grandpa...”
I laugh at that to this day...
LOL, I think that First Class Petty Officer I described in the post above was from Georgia! (It could have been Alabama, it has been so long)
—””Excuse me, sir” to a seriously mentally ill, delusional man is a cause for disciplinary action against a sane person? ....”
Catch-22, a military regulation stating that a pilot can be grounded for being insane, but anyone who requests to be grounded is considered sane and therefore must continue to fly.
Why Corporal Klinger was never considered for the discharge he wanted.
Just FYI, the article is a liberal rag in a very liberal part of Atlanta (Decatur).
And all that has happened is that “[t]he police department has opened an Internal Affairs investigation into the incident” with no other comments.
Hopefully nothing will happen to the cop.
Ever since the Pickrick Restaurant closed.
Klinger didn’t demand to use the ladies latrine.
