He is creating a hunger crisis in America.
All so that he can avoid reopening the government and fixing healthcare for millions of Americans.

There isn't enough money to fully fund SNAP from emergency funds.

Funding comes from Congress. The executive branch is not responsible for SNAP, and the courts have no authority to make it pay.
Schmuckie Schumer is such a vile and disgusting individual that calling him a sociopath would be an insult to upstanding sociopaths everywhere. Why can’t he just sponsor a bill to fully fund SNAP until this impasse is resolved? Well, let’s look at that.
First of all, an appropriations bill traditionally comes from the House, but the House is currently closed for business, and Johnson won’t gavel it back in, apparently because he would have to seat a Democrat who just won a special election. This Democrat would be the 218th vote on a discharge petition calling for the release of the remaining Epstein files. If I turn out to be wrong about this one, please correct me.

Massachusetts
Michigan
Minnesota
Nevada
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York
Oregon
Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
Vermont
Virginia
Washington
And, of course, Washington, D.C. is in the mix too.
These states are stonewalling because they know the fraud is massive. When you hide the books, it’s never to protect the honest folks—it’s to cover up the rot. Meanwhile, the states that did cooperate are already exposing exactly the kind of abuse the left swears doesn’t exist.

Perhaps President Trump can round up some of his billionaire buddies to fund a private version of SNAP. However, in this case, the dole should be packaged in the form of coupon books that require the holder to tear off little tabs while holding up the checkout line. One way to mitigate behavior is via shame.
