Real quiet here. Well, not really now that I think about it. Full supermoon coming up and the kittehs are feelin’ it already. Kinda dangerous walking through a NASCAR track. LOL
I am glad Trump changed the name back to Fort Polk. No disrespect to Mr. Johnson. Same with Fort Hood. I am sure there are others.

We almost broke 60 this afternoon. Better than yesterday but I’m waiting for those 70s that start tomorrow.
Hoo boy, very hectic day, and crazy next couple of weeks, my head is spinnin’ and it was already pretty loose.
Need a week on an island somewhere, LOL!

By sheer bad luck, he was teamed with General Braxton Bragg, the most profane officer in the entire Confederate Army. There is a scene just before a major battle where Bragg exhorts his troops, being careful to limit his usual vocabulary in Polk's presence. Bragg said, "Now I want you boys to go out there and give them Yankees hell!" Leonidas Polk added, "Now you boys go out there and give the Yankees what General Bragg said to give them."
That’s what I was afraid of. This time of year is a butt-kicker for you. Hang on to yer hat! You’ll get through it. The season will be over before you know it.
I drove through there this summer. A big ole pine forest.
Sounds like our weekend was about the same. The weather wasn’t all that great here so I had no desire to go anywhere.
It’ll be nice the rest of this week and I do have to get out to take a cat to the vet, and to have a blown-out tire replaced for ol’ Betsy. I just hope I can get it into the Town Car. It’s heavy.

It was pretty warm but not overly so. I really didn’t need cover when trying to nap.I have up to today. It will continue to warm up until this coming Saturday. Nothing uncomfortable, though.
I hope you enjoy those 70s. I sure have. Maybe it’ll be easier to want to run errands when you don’t have to be bound by a heavy coat. LOL!
