Putting aside all the historical data in this video, do I think the Chinese economy will inevitably overtake the US ecpnpmy?
Yup.
Too many Democrats working 24/7 to destroy America, plus the Chinese are working too darn hard at everything including very high technology. China already produces more cars than the US ans Europe COMBINED!

Don't blame the Democrats.

The American people want soft, secure lives, with everything guaranteed and paid for by someone else. It's been so for generations.

While simultaneously fighting for the Freedom! of every nation on earth. Because we're 'Merica!

Our Empire is bloated and over-extended. The bill was always going to come due eventually.

I’m the “glass half full” sort of a person that does not lean towards doom and gloom.

Right now doom and gloom is about to take out the democrat party. The good news is that President Trump is at the helm of that ship taking them out, and he will succeed.

The problem is what’s going to fill that gap left by the rat party? Socialist/communists? We shall see.

Think positive people. Once the rat party crashes and burns maybe the old blue dog variety of democrat, those of the JFK era, will once again take over. I could be delusional, but we gotta think positive.

America's decline was sealed with the Counterculture Revolution of the 60s. Godly stars like Perry Como (married to the same woman 65 years; would not allow anything off color on his tv show; etc) were replaced by the antihero rebel like Steve McQueen and Peter Fonda.

Like others have stated, " history doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes."

Even a brief review of world history will let any person see that ALL empires fall and that at the time of it's run on the world stage they all thought that "this time it's different".

Men are men, we behave in the same manner due to biologic and behavioral adaptation to our environment and culture. But they all eventually devolve into chaos and then rebuild under a different form that is a solution to the chaos and provides stability.

So are we different than the Romans, Assyrians, Greeks, Spanish, British, Mongol,Persian, Ottoman, Qing/Han/Yuan dynasties, Babylon, Hittite, Egyptian,Byzantine, Babylonian, etc..... yes we are different.... and the same....

I'd just like to try to insure that my family survives and somehow manages to pull through the dark times. But didn't all those prior families in those prior empires wish the same?

I wholeheartedly agree.
I suspect the bill will come due sooner than most expect.

America is not following any past empire, whether by accident nor by design.

History is not repeating itself nor is it rhyming here. We are in uncharted waters with people desperately searching for a lighthouse, manufacturing similarities because their historical reading is too narrow.

When you are only familiar with the history of hammers, every modern historical cue is going to look, to you, like a nail.

I am pretty sure we are repeating history related to Collapse of Empire. All of the classic indicators are in place and intensifying.

I’ve read for ages that the fall of the Roman Empire was simplified to “bread and circuses”. I believe the same for the American Empire and ours translates to welfare and ball games. IMO. Flame away, but it’s welfare and ball games.

That captures the democrat party perfectly.

What’s the problem? Let it collapse.

Crappy cars built from crappy aluminum, with few to no safety features, sold within China. Start rusting the first time it rains. How many cars do these companies produce/sell outside their home country?
