The illegal alien truck driver responsible for a fatal crash earlier this year in Florida failed his commercial drivers’ license (CDL) test in Washington a staggering 10 times within a two-month window.
Between March and May 2023, Harjinder Singh, an illegal alien from India, tested 10 times to try to obtain a CDL license to drive trucks in the state of Washington. He failed every single time, according to Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin and the Florida attorney general’s office.
Yet, insanely, not only did the state of Washington eventually give Singh a CDL license anyway, but the state of California also gave him one. And therefore Singh was driving a truck in Florida and made an illegal U-turn in August, causing a deadly crash that claimed three lives.

Illegals should NOT be allowed to have drivers licenses until AFTER their court hearing granting them temporary status for citizenship. The ones that get hearings in 2 years (which is most) and then never even show, those are the ones who should be prohibited from getting drivers licenses.
Whoever it is that gave him that should be charged also.

We can safely assume that when the families of the victims in Florida sue the State of Washington untold sums, the State of Washington will lose and they will win. As they should and they are entitle to every penny they eventually will receive.
But, for legal tax payers in the State of Washington are losers on a less grand scale than the Florida victims, because we continue to cover the costs of crippling liberal policies and actions of our state government officials.
And who won’t be affected by a lawsuit? The very same people that caused this and other tragedies.

It would seem to me, it should be one and done for a year if the test taker fails miserably.

Most don't qualify for asylum, they just want to benefit from our generous welfare system. They might get a Green card in one year if they qualify. Only those who get Green cards should qualify for a drivers license and that would be one year after their court determination.
There are only two things all illegal aliens should be given...(1) a kick in the a** out of this country forever and (2) a complete seizure of all assets.
Is this the guy who is not proficient in English? I teach adult ESL. I have one student whose skills are at the most basic level, if that. I was told by another student, whose skills are much better, that this student was going to start driving a truck and might miss class sometimes.
This is in Illinois.
A few weeks ago and Illinois trucker from Eastern Europe caused an accident in Indiana when, instead of moving into the open right lane to avoid stopped traffic, he went to the left and into oncoming traffic and squashed a car and its driver flat. He has no CDL.
The companies that employ these criminals should be fined BIGLY!

I trained and took the CDL class (and got my CDL) because I managed a bunch of truck drivers and wanted to be a better judge of drivers. Drove trucks full of pipe to well locations for a week. Not a professional driver, by any means, but not 100% clueless, either.
If you can’t pass the test the first time, mildly drunk and certainly hung over like 3/4 of the people who took the test with me, you should never be allowed near a vehicle.
Yep. Former Illinois Governor George Ryan, when he was Secretary of State, had a policy of accepting bribes to give licenses to unqualified truck drivers. After one of his clients caused an accident in Wisconsin that resulted in most of a family being burned alive, the problem was investigated and Ryan went to prison. That needs to happen too.

and sued out of existence ... but many seem to be fly-by-night outfits with little or no insurance and themselves owned by illegals or foreign crooks .... it’s imperative to also sue whomever hires these companies to haul their loads ...
