The City of Portland assisted a controversial anti-ICE organization in securing a vacant office space on the ground floor of an apartment building directly across the street from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility, which has been under siege by demonstrators, many of whom are involved with Antifa networks, since early June.
The Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition (PIRC), a taxpayer-funded non-governmental organization (NGO), is known for conducting trainings on how to disrupt ICE operations, as well as providing guidance to illegal immigrants on the best practices to evade apprehension by federal authorities.

According to a letter obtained by The Post Millennial, the PIRC moved into a previously vacant office space on the ground floor of Gray's Landing on Monday. Some of its staff members and volunteers have been actively involved in the unlawful 24-hour Antifa occupation outside the ICE facility, and now have an office space just feet away from the occupation.
The City of Portland reportedly played a role in facilitating PIRC's move into Gray's Landing, according to the October 20 letter sent to Gray's Landing residents by REACH CEO Margaret Salazar. REACH is a low-income housing, taxpayer-funded non-profit that operates Gray's Landing.

I suspect that they are making up for the arrest of Chandler Patey
Federal officers arrested Chandler Patey outside the Portland ICE facility on September 18, 2025, after he was accused of using his nearby apartment unit as an Antifa safe house.
The apartment, located across from the ICE headquarters, had reportedly been used since at least July 2025 as a place for Antifa members to rest, use restrooms, store supplies, and prepare for protests, including changing into uniforms and organizing placards and weapons.
Patey provided the space to agitators to support ongoing efforts against the ICE facility.
A TAX PAYER FUNDED ORGANIZATION: AGAINST ICE & REMOVAL OF ILLEGALS.
WHY DOES THAT SOUND LIKE PEOPLE SHOULD BE GOING TO JAIL FOR AIDING/ABETTING/HARBORING?????

Antifa runs Portland. The street level thugs are just the drug addled foot soldiers. City hall, PPB, and the mayor’s office is all antifa approved.
The Feds should just set up camp and film every person and car coming no going.
I can never understand why that would be a NGO taxpayer funded organization. What is going on here? I realize it is Portland, but this seems really outlandish, even for that city. Seems a likely area for some taxpayer savings.
All this resistance is tiring to read about. I wish some of these politicians would be arrested already.
