Development follows string of new scandals and huge pressure from the King
Prince Andrew is set to give up all of his titles, including the Duke of York, the Telegraph understands.
The development follows a string of new scandals concerning his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and his relationship with an alleged Chinese spy.
It is understood he will put all his titles “in abeyance” having come under huge pressure from the King.
He will also give up his membership of the Order of the Garter but will, however, remain a prince, having been born the son of Elizabeth II.
The Duke’s ex-wife, Sarah, Duchess of York, will also relinquish her title and will be known simply as Sarah Ferguson.
The agreement was made following high level meetings at Buckingham Palace as aides finally reached “tipping point”.
After days of yet more revelations that threatened the reputation of the monarchy, the King was finally prepared to press the nuclear button.

Of all the places that could use a “No Kings Day’ rally.
Good. Love the pretty dresses and tradition of monarchy, but only when living up to its Christian vows of honor.
America waged a revolution over this stuff!
Ping!
In all seriousness is that meme true? York Peppermint Patties are actually gone? 😯
Yes. Or at least I read that over a decade ago. I don’t know if they came back.
No kidding! Yeah will look into it more but quick search shows only the candy bag, non frozen kind.
Duke, duke, duke,
Duke of York, duke, duke,
Duke of York, duke, duke,
Duke of York no more...
okay maybe I’ve been confused this whole time. I remember there being a sort of minty ice cream patty back in the day…something else perhaps.
I bet he don’t give up his annual princely allowance.

2. If so, can I pay on an installment plan?

York is my favorite English city, I could spend all day at the train museum there.
So, this grand duke of York doesn’t have ten thousand men.
Some history too there we don’t know much about I’m guessing. King Charles is turning the blade, I also believe he threw Andrew out of his original ‘royal’ residence awhile back. Not that Andrew deserves much sympathy.
Makes me wonder about Andrew if ‘mommy always liked him best’
Ya beat me to it!
I’ll take it!...................
