Today, Lindsey Halligan, the newly appointed U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, announced that a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging New York State Attorney General Letitia James with Bank Fraud under 18 U.S.C. Section 1344 and False Statements to a Financial Institution under 18 U.S.C. Section 1014.
New York Attorney General Letitia James responded on Twitter:
This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system.
I am not fearful — I am fearless.
We will fight these baseless charges aggressively, and my office will continue to fiercely protect New Yorkers and their rights.

Newsmax is replaying all of James’s past comments against Trump, how she’s coming for him and claiming that she is fearless. Well... now that the tables are turned... let’s see how “fearless” she is behind bars.

Her entire campaign for AG was on “getting Trump” - openly promising to abuse her power to pursue legal action against Trump just for the heck of it. She would “find” something. She *promised* to politicize the justice system. She launched investigations based on nothing but trying to find “something” to pursue - ultimately just making up bogus allegations about loans which were paid according to the contracts signed - and was handed her lunch by the Appeals Court calling it out for being the bogus case that it was.
Now, *she* complains about politicization of the justice system...
A montage of all her remarks from that campaign interspersed with her remarks about this legal action against her should be made.
