Hey it’s legal - and encouraged - in Kanadastan to euthanize humans so belugas should be no big deal, eh?

Exactly. Their instincts are still there, regardless what the tree-hugger, self-annointed, friends-of-all-animals but only-on-our-terms fruitloops say. If they turn out to be prey, well, that’s the cycle of life and how nature works.
