I heard him make a more recent statement in an interview that seemed to go unnoticed. He said something like “I get my morality from my communism”.
You mean James Commey, don’t you?
He moved to traitor and criminal.
Yup...heard it on Clay & Buck the other day. Of course Commies in this country know that in order to attain high office one must pretend to be a “progressive” Rat. We’ll get another example of this next month in NYC.

It is conceivable that a communist would come to realize that the government owning absolutely everything might not be ideal and an administrative state/deep state(progressivism) is a preferable form of authoritarianism to communism.
I think he meant John Brennan, who admitted to voting for a Communist.
David Horowitz was a former communist, as was James Burnham.
Van Jones is also a former communist, now a progressive. So it happens.

It is scary in hindsight to understand the Commie infiltration of James and his fellow traveler John Brennan. I pray we can restore our government to its intended purpose and vision.

Comey and Brennan were purposefully undermining The USA. They need to face prosecution.
Brennan. Comey. Many Chinese origin bureaucrats and officers in all agencies and especially the DoD. The Chinese are mostly not Communists but they do what they must do to protect their families still in China. Who thinks we have any strategic and diplomatic secrets left?
For progressive “ex” Communists the conversion is purely cosmetic. By being “ex” they trade the futility of violent revolution for infiltration.
