We were just in Canada (Quebec) a few days ago,having traveled by car. When returning to the US we chose a small border station on the Vermont/Quebec border. We waited over an hour to get through. And when we got to the actual guard he asked us a number of questions and appeared to be in a particularly nasty mood.

Don't know if it all was the result of Trump's focus on the border or if it was because the guard wasn't being paid (it was just last weekend).
