Federal immigration authorities nabbed nearly 100 illegal migrants driving 18-wheelers off a single highway as the Trump administration continues to crack down on migrant commercial drivers.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, working alongside the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, arrested 91 illegal migrants operating a commercial motor vehicle with commercial driver licenses (CDL) during a three-day operation along I-40, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed to the Daily Caller News Foundation. Altogether, deportation officers took 120 illegal migrants into custody for immigration violations.
The Trump administration is crediting the 287(g) program, a partnership between local law enforcement and ICE, for the successful haul.
“ICE’s 287(g) program clearly demonstrates how federal and local law enforcement agencies can work together to make America safe again,” Madison Sheahan, ICE Deputy Director, said in a statement obtained by the DCNF. “Illegal aliens have no business operating 18 wheelers on America’s highways.”

Just think how many are on our roadways. Truck drivers used to be the safest drivers on the road. Now, I avoid them as much as possible and stay far away from them when on the highway.
I’m not a trucker but for my job I frequently pull a trailer that has to conform to DOT rules. I’m paranoid about proper logging, hours of service conformance, inspections and going through weigh stations.
Yet, illegals who do none of that have been skating through.
Until the illegals are swept off the roads, weigh stations should be used to conduct reading tests and language skills. Can’t read or speak english, you’re parking your truck and are subject to a deeper dive into your legal status with a one way ticket to the nearest ICE detention center if warranted. If you’re legal, your truck is still parked and you need to find a new career.
This is a national disgrace!
There is no doubt that many of these apprehensions were just children ... nabbed in the middle of the night.
Dragged out of their trucks into the cold night air in their underwear or naked and in handcuffs.
These are salt of the earth people who never did anything but drive over our highways to deliver goods for America.
These are Gestapo tactics!

There are few examples which demonstrate the true magnitude of a problem. This is certainly one.
It is akin to arresting several pedophiles in a single school, meaning that POLICY has been facilitating such growth, magnifying the problem even greater due to the fact that this is a 50-state problem.
Clearly the plandemic reduced state trooper response. They 'used' to be the front lines for trucker enforcement and only policy would have reduced such enforcement...which I've observed personally having GREATELY reduced in the prior 5-10 years.

And this is in red state Oklahoma. You just know it is way worse in places like California, Nevada, Colorado, New York, New Jersey and all New England states.

When I’m driving, I hate being behind vehicles that are so large I can barely see anything other than what’s directly in front of me. I try hard to get around them asap. I feel safer because I can see better. I hate being just behind or near semis.
Interstate highways 40, 44, and 35 all pass through Oklahoma. I bet if one were to check every CDL passing a given point on one of those highways a single day would see commercial drivers from all 48 and maybe even Alaksa.

Tractor-trailers being driven down the highways at the numbers they are reveals the absolute greed of the trucking companies and federally imposed rot and assault on society.
One being driven by an illegal (he could speak very little English) managed to crash a semi on a straight stretch of highway about two miles up the road from where I live.
I doubt very much that it’s as rampant in New Jersey. New Jersey State Police do not play around. I’d put them near the top, if not at the top of any State Police organization in the US.
And everyone is afraid to hire them.
How many of these illegal alien truck drivers received their licenses from California? Paging Gavin Newsom...

I-40 goes from the East Coast to the West Coast of the United states, something around 3000 miles long. This is one small slice of it in a few hours of checking. There are thousands of illegals driving trucks on our highways.
It looked like some kind of dragnet about an hour ago at the south bound Throggs Neck . There must have been 25 or 30 cop cars with gangs of cops standing in the roadway. NYPD.
