Hamas said on Friday it would agree to some of the terms in U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to end the Gaza war, including releasing hostages, but avoided addressing more vexing issues like disarmament and said it would seek further negotiations.
In a copy of a statement seen by Reuters, Hamas issued its response to Trump's 20-point plan after the president gave the Palestinian militant group until Sunday to accept or reject the proposal.
It was unclear if the U.S. or Israel would be willing to engage in further negotiations on the plan's terms.
Hamas did not say if it would agree to disarm and demilitarize Gaza — something Israel and the U.S. want but Hamas has rejected before. It also did not agree to an Israeli withdrawal in stages, as opposed to the immediate, full withdrawal Hamas demands.

First they say they will release the hostages, then they say the 72 hour time frame is “Not realistic” OH REALLY, come on, doesnt take 10 yrs to release people, takes what, 5 minutes “here ya go” so they are stalling..just flatten their asses thats it
Trump better not fold, but I think he will.
The question now is will this smokescreen of negotiation be enough to buy them more time.
Why does part of me WANT Hamas to reject it?
It wants to use the initial O.K. to get Trump to pressure Israel to let Hamas continue to live in Gaza.
If they free all hostages, then they got no cards.

We just got our answer. Trump just posted Hammas is now “ready for a lasting peace” told Israel to cease the bombing. Ugh
