Longtime Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) acknowledged that her party forced the government into a shutdown on Wednesday in order to secure “health care for everybody” — including illegal immigrants.
Waters, 87, was questioned outside the US Capitol Tuesday about Democrats’ opposition to a stopgap funding bill in both chambers of Congress that would have kept the government’s lights on until Nov. 21.
“Are Democrats demanding health care for illegal aliens?” asked LindellTV reporter Alison Steinburg. “Democrats are demanding health care for everybody,” Waters responded, hours before her Senate colleagues blocked the spending measure.
“We want to save lives,” she added. “We want to make sure that health care is available to those who would die not having the help of their government.”
“So you’re good with a government shutdown, even if it means giving health care to people who aren’t American citizens?” Steinburg followed up.
“That’s what you’re pushing on,” Waters shot back. “You’re standing here and you’re trying to make me say that somehow we’re going to put non-citizens over Americans.

There are so many reasons unconstitutional gov’t healthcare should be abolished.

What about those folks who really want to be Americans, but haven't made it to our shores yet? If illegals within our borders have rights, shouldn't everyone, no matter where they live?
$13,000 deductibles, co-pays, just for free mammograms and well-visits, is not a deal. It's welfare for the health insurance , HMO, PPO, providers.
Suddenly your tax refund checks go "poof"! The government figured out a while ago that when your health insurance premiums exceeded your federal withholding in any given month, it was time for the swamp to get into the Healthcare game.
Illegal aliens are already getting free health care, indirectly. If someone shows up at the emergency doors of a hospital, they will get treated regardless of ability to pay. That is the law. Even if the person is an illegal alien. No questions.
Then the hospitals seek reimbursement from the federal government, and it is given to the hospitals. Our tax dollars from citizens are indirectly paying for health care of illegal aliens, and this is just one part of our tax dollars being directed to illegals!
Now the democrats are openly trying to make it direct and official! President Trump is trying to stop the democrats from a huge steal of taxpayer dollars.
Do not negotiate with them. Giving concessions to them is wrong.
She and the rest enable criminals to go free to kill people like Iryna due to being soft on crime.
They allow fentanyl and other drugs to come in through the southern border through their wide open immigration.
They steal elections and have gerrymandered states to cut down on GOP seats, along with counting illegals in the census.
They deserve to suffer. That is justice.
Do not talk with them at a peace table.
It’s a shame liberals keep themselves in such a bubble, very, very few will even know the contrast of what she said, versus what Schumer says.

The amazing part is the usual Democrat hypocrisy... the spending phase-outs that they supposedly want to stop are the exact phase-outs that they UNANIMOUSLY VOTED FOR in the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.
