A Polish lawyer representing Volodymyr Z., wanted by Germany over his alleged involvement in the Nord Stream explosions, confirmed to Reuters on Tuesday that his client was detained in Poland.
Polish private radio station RMF FM reported that the man had been wanted under a European arrest warrant issued by a German court.

President Joe Biden on Monday said the U.S. would “bring an end” to the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline if Russia invades Ukraine.
“If Russia invades — that means tanks or troops crossing the border of Ukraine — then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.” Biden said while standing next to the new chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, at a White House news conference.
When pressed for details on how he would keep that promise given that the pipeline is not under U.S. control, Biden did not elaborate.
“I promise you, we will be able to do it,” he told reporters.
I saw that video of Biden many times a few years ago, but it has become difficult to find now.
Sweden supposedly finished their investigation, the details oddly not given to the press, and gave the info to Germany some time back. Now a "Volodymyr Z" -- funny, that -- is in the docket in Germany. One wonders what details will emerge.
