President Donald Trump has flaunted the '24 karat gold' that adorns the walls of the White House that he claimed make other world leaders 'freak out' in an odd social media post on Sunday night.
'Some of the highest quality 24 Karat Gold used in the Oval Office and Cabinet Room of the White House,' the president wrote.
'Foreign Leaders, and everyone else, "freak out" when they see the quality and beauty,' he continued.
'Best Oval Office ever in terms of success and look!!!'

Otherwise, the next Dem in office will steal it and replace it w/fake stuff.
I don’t know, something about gold.
🤭
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hillary is hitting her forehead with her palm - “why didn’t I think of that?????”
She would have stripped that gold to the bone.
BINGO
News about gold and silver are far and few between, while fiat crumbles. People feel high with all derivative indicators are also reaching highs, Dow, btc, 401k, etc. this is inflation. It’s a mirage. NOT money.
Gold cannot inflate. Real money doesn’t inflate. Only fake money inflates
Trump has always liked it like that. It is too much for my liking, but everyone has their taste that appeals to them.
Too gaudy for me, too.
Apparently he, or donors, are paying.
Not my taste, but if it’s not my money, I don’t care.
Oh NO! Trump wants to cut health care for illegal immigrants!
Un precedented tariffs?
You are either an ignorant boob or a liar.
The federal government was totally paid for by tariffs, impost and excise taxes for about 150 years.
Even today income tax is only 50% of federal financing.
It always amazes me how easily Libs lie.
In my opinion the income tax is more about controlling the populace and milking donors for campaign contributions, reward friends and punish enemies.
Every tin pot dictator has a golden toilet. I think the only one impressed is Trump. Sad to see the USA has to resort to such a gaudy display of wealth in a time where our national debt is 37 trillions.
Trump’s taste in decor is an example of wretched excess —embarrassingly garish. The gold ... 🤮
But considering the architecture and decor that other world leaders work and live in, especially in the middle east, Trump’s digs are understated elegance. I seriously doubt that they freak out seeing the White House
Not a fan of Mar-A-Lago’ing the White House.
Didn’t some of that “gold” adornment turn out to be plastic from Home Depot spraypainted gold?
+1
The dems have always the Oval Office looking like a ghetto trailer park living room.
And, don’t get me started on white trash Jill’s demonic Christmas or the Clinton’s sex toy Christmas tree.
President Trump is a class act.
“unprecedented tariffs onto working Americans”
Tariffs are assessed on goods exported to the US, ‘working Americans’.
The tariffs are paid at the port of entry by the country exporting them.
If they pass this fee along to the MFRs in their country, then prices will rise, not just in the US.
Tariffs are fee for other sovereign nations to participate in the largest consumer market place in the world.
They don’t need to pay the fee.
Simply don’t export the product to the US.
The US can stand on its own while still supplying low-cost American goods to countries that welcome and need our products.
That stated, we need to be sure of US control of our ports since the tariffs are paid there to unload.
All ports can (and do) defer payment of tariffs so that commerce-traffic flows, container ships are unloaded.
Instead of “pay-to-play” tariffs we have “deferred pay as you go” collections.
Errata correctio:
:: Tariffs are assessed on goods exported to the US, ‘working Americans’. ::
...exported to the US, NOT on ‘working Americans’.
I recall an old article, pre-presidency, about Trump’s penthouse in Trump Towers. Lots of gold.
