I hate it when they say the Supreme Court allowed it. The Supreme Court doesn’t allow anything. They decide if a law was broken. The Constitution isn’t allowances. The Constitution is Supreme law.

LOL! I guess all those overreaching nitwits have to accept that they are close to Traffic Court “judges” in terms of their purview. Most should resign in shame.

Without reading the rest of the article, let me guess what the decision was:

SIX TO THREE!

with 3 of the 4 women in the SCOTUS voting against Trump. One of them is the Justice who does not know what a woman is, and the other calls herself a wise Latina.

Tell me my guess is wrong…

Hope it sets a precedent for more larger spending cuts…

Everything PDJT tries to do is fought to the Supreme Court.

If I recall correctly, that is $4B our of $30B. That’s only 13 percent that isn’t being spent and they are having a cow over it. $26B is being spent. We taxpayers have zero responsibility to support the world or give money to agencies and governments who hate us.

“This order should not be read as a final determination on the merits,” the court wrote in its unsigned order. “The relief granted by the court today reflects our preliminary view, consistent with the standards for interim relief.”

The Constitution is Supreme law.

As if... That bird flew the coup before we were even born. I wish we could bring back fealty to the Constitution and all the protections to the citizenry it provides. The leaders we've elected will never do it. It's all half measures and inches these days when it comes to the Constitution.

The Supreme Court sides with the Trump administration, allowing it to block $4 billion in Congress-approved untraceable slush-fund foreign aid spending.

It’s not a decision on the merits.

It just denies an application to pay out the money before the USSC can rule on the merits. They haven’t even heard the case yet.

I think these are not actual “wins” but removal of injunctions so that Trump can proceed as the case(s) go through the lower courts. But it is still wonderful news.

$4 billion should be about enough to finish the wall.

There is no reason whatsoever why we should be demanded to fork over billions to countries that just feed the top cats. They have not progressed since we started giving them money nor will they now.

That’s the problem they won’t resign and they don’y have any shame. They should be tarred and feathered and imprisoned, but I’ll accept being disbarred and losing their ability to ever practice law ever again.

Trump had enough $$$ ($2-$3 billion) to build the wall his first term from defense spending cuts, but liberals somehow thwarted that despite having the money and that Trump supporters wanted this. Funny liberals were mocking Trump for (their words) only building 13 miles of the wall during his first term, but not admitting they fought against it tooth and nail. Not surprising that no wall was built during Biden’s term and then they sold raw materials for the wall for pennies on the dollar and no one was arrested for that treason,..
