President Donald Trump’s visit to the United Nations was marred by several “technical malfunctions.” An escalator stopped suddenly as he and First Lady Melania stepped on it, almost causing them to be pitched forward onto their faces, then his teleprompter suddenly wasn’t working, and then the sound in the auditorium was turned off so nobody without an earpiece could hear what he was saying.
Hmm. That’s an awful lot of coincidences, especially considering that there were reports that U.N. staffers had "joked" beforehand about stopping the escalators and elevators so Trump would have to walk.
Trump isn’t buying that all this was accidental, and he wants answers, posting on social media that he is demanding an immediate investigation:
"I’m sending a copy of this letter to the Secretary General, and I demand an immediate investigation. No wonder the United Nations hasn’t been able to do the job that they were put in existence to do..."

Trump made it clear that he thought mischief was afoot, and he wants to get to the bottom of what he calls "triple sabotage."
"A REAL DISGRACE took place at the United Nations yesterday — Not one, not two, but three very sinister events!," he posted on his social media platform, saying he was sending a letter to U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres.
"First, the escalator going up to the Main Speaking Floor came to a screeching halt. It stopped on a dime. It's amazing that Melania and I didn't fall forward onto the sharp edges of these steel steps, face first. It was only that we were each holding the handrail tightly or, it would have been a disaster," he wrote.
Note how snide and dismissive the mainstream media is, in this case, ABC News. Trump was “complaining,” they huffed. He should complain – the U.S. funds the United Nations to the tune of about $13 billion a year—the freaking teleprompter and escalators should work when the commander in chief is in the house.
After complaining about a second issue -- how his teleprompter didn't work for the first 15 minutes of his address -- he claimed the audio in the General Assembly Hall has been turned off.
He had plenty to complain about, snidesters at ABC. He noted that Melania couldn’t even hear her own husband address the world body:
"And third, after making the Speech, I was told that the sound was completely off in the Auditorium where the Speech was made, that World Leaders, unless they used the interpreters' earpieces, couldn't hear a thing," he wrote. "The first person I saw at the conclusion of the Speech was Melania, who was sitting right up front. I said, "How did I do?" And she said, "I couldn't hear a word you said." This wasn't a coincidence, this was triple sabotage at the UN. They ought to be ashamed of themselves."
The White House announced Wednesday that the Secret Service is looking into the questionable mishaps. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told Jesse Watters on Fox News that she agreed with Trump that she finds the whole thing fishy:

I won’t speculate on exactly what happened… I’ll just note that that’s an awful lot of things going wrong all at once. You be the judge.

Not Kelly Clarkson, it was Carrie Underwood ( Both American Idol winners).
But Carrie did it a capella and everybody in the audience sang along with her, so her presence of mind and poise saved the day.
Yes she did well and sounded great. I never heard the explanation for the mike to go dead and will be surprised if an answer for what happened at the U.N. is forthcoming anytime soon.
Withhold all US funds and kick out everyone at the UN.

On the Chris Plante Show (radio) he quoted some security people who said the setup of a suddenly stopped escalator would have been the perfect setting for an assassination.

Can’t escape in that confined area.
He said Butler agents were stumbling over themselves and no one could get Trump out if there had been two....or five....killers from various directions to supplement the rooftop shooter. Chilling.
And that doesn’t even cover a grenade, poison gas fumes or a bomb while they were trapped on the escalator or an elevator.
I’ve said for a long time we have to think beyond protecting him only from the traditional “one man acting alone with a gun.” Like Vietnam generals fighting as if the last war, WWII with set battles would win.

Not to mention the Secret Service disrupting a plot to disrupt telecom networks in New York on Monday. The size of attack was said to be spanning a distance of 35 miles. The size also indicates that it had to be state-sponsored.
Wait until some enterprising Transtifa lunatic or Islamic Terrorist uses a drone rigged with a grenade and flies it in to where Trump is speaking from a distance where he can hide and potentially get away.
Once the escalator stopped I half expected a hit squad to step out of the shadows and do the wet work. He would have had nowhere to run. Would anyone have been surprised if they assassinated our president right their in the UN building? You know they’d all want to.
We probably have the most brave president in Donald J. Trump since George Washington crossed the Delaware.

Gee, your post is just like what I’m saying in my post# 11 on this thread. I wondered if I was the only one to have thought of that and I’m not surprised to hear that I’m not.
and not to mention that also on this day - the first day of Rosh Hashanah when Jews/Israelis are commanded not to work -UN scheduled special session on the Middle East. it does seem as if demons were busy.
These are low key acts of “civil terrorism”.

Pulling fire alarms at crucial moments at public events or gatherings is also an example of this behavior. Even within auditoriums filled with ordinary people thinking they were just living their lives, suddenly finding themselves “attacked”, even though not with a gun or other obvious weapon. We can’t allow these kinds of things (cut power, pull fire alarms, disable systems, including the disrupted plot to hack into and disable the Manhattan NYC cellular phone network) to become the norm, or ignore how potentially dangerous it is in terms of fomenting chaos or worse.
It may have been part of a dry run to see how the President or his security team would react.
