Jimmy Kimmel failed to apologize for his jokes following the assassination of Charlie Kirk as he returned to TV for the first time on Tuesday night.
The host gave a tearful 20-minute monologue in which he claimed he 'never intended to make light of' the MAGA icon's death - and then proceeded to lash out at Donald Trump over censorship.
Kimmel's late-night ABC show was yanked off air by Disney last week after he stated that Kirk's killer was a Trump supporter. In reality, the assassin was a liberal who seethed with hatred at Kirk over his conservative, Christian ethics.
The host received a standing ovation as he told his audience: 'A government threat to silence a comedian the government doesn't like is anti-American.'
Kimmel acknowledged his employer of more than 20 years was taking an enormous risk in putting him back on TV.
'Unfortunately, and I think unjustly, this puts them at risk,' he said. 'The president of the United States made it very clear he wants to see me and the hundreds of people who work here fired from their job.
'Our leader celebrates Americans losing their livelihoods because he can't take a joke.'
Kimmel broke down when discussing what he said about the assassination of Kirk - but he never once said he was sorry.

As soon as he was done with this apology he went right back to relentlessly mocking Trump. He believe mocking Trump amounts to 'hold trump accountable'.
He’s a narcissistic clown incapable of accepting responsibility for his actions. Typical liberal.
He did intend to “make light” of Kirk’s murder (not “death”, murder). Now he wants to rewrite history. He’s the worst kind of fascist propagandist - one who is a cowardly pussy on top of everything else.
He should be charged with impersonating a comedian.

Kimmelites Hardest Hit!
The monologue was a FLOP. The only barely humorous line was the opening line.
Kimmel reinforced Trump’s observation that he is a no talent hater.
Kimmel’s ratings will continue to fall and I hope Sinclair keeps him off the air so that nobody will renew his money losing program next year.
Kimmel is a commie loving POS. He calls himself a comedian, who gets no laughs.

In other news Disney, owners of ABC, raises prices of Disney+ streaming plans by $3 per month.
I’ve heard lots of comparisons of Kimmel and Colbert to people like Johnny Carson.
I never watched Johnny Carson. But I’ve heard he did not get political very often. And when he did, he took shots at both sides. But that his jokes were mild by comparison with the so called jokes told by these guys today.
What frustrates me about Kimmel and Colber is that you have to be liberal to think their jokes are funny. It’s like they have a presumption that we all are liberal in the viewing audience.
I honestly don’t care what he says.
Sticks and stones and all that stuff.
But…I also choose not to watch him. I imagine after the bloom is off this temporary rose, many others will choose not to watch him. I thought he stopped being funny many years ago.
The market place will take of these people. Disney doesn’t like to lose money. I cannot image him being on the air for years to come.

He has his audience to placate. They demand this and they eat it up. They will not put up with anything more decent

So he’s covering up lying with more lying.
The man used his platform to lie about a murder - he lied saying the murderer was a MAGA Republican and blamed MAGA for Kirk’s assassination. That’s just blatant lying - and to lie about a cold blooded murder to further your political agenda is all the more disgusting. And he says it is...comedy?
And his audience stood and gave a standing ovation for this.
The good news is that by broadcasting this tool his ratings will go down even farther, dozens of affiliate stations have pulled out and hope they stand their ground.
Kimmel never apologized for lying and demonizing a large swath of people.

I wrote to Disney+ that I will never watch Kimmel’s program because he is toxic, causes division, and not entertainment. I also will write the local affiliate with the same message. Kimmel is counting on the 400 actors who threatened Disney, but I will make the point that actors are a dime a dozen and let them walk.
Lying asshole.
