Tom Homan was investigated for accepting $50,000 from undercover FBI agents. Trump's DOJ shut it down.

In an undercover operation last year, the FBI recorded Tom Homan, now the White House border czar, accepting $50,000 in cash after indicating he could help the agents — who were posing as business executives — win government contracts in a second Trump administration, according to multiple people familiar with the probe and internal documents reviewed by MSNBC.

The FBI and the Justice Department planned to wait to see whether Homan would deliver on his alleged promise once he became the nation’s top immigration official. But the case indefinitely stalled soon after Donald Trump became president again in January, according to six sources familiar with the matter. In recent weeks, Trump appointees officially closed the investigation, after FBI Director Kash Patel requested a status update on the case, two of the people said.

Diversionary tactic, just in time for tomorrow’s AZ Charlie Kirk service.

So two FBI “businessmen” tried to hire (frame) retired Tom Homan as a lobbyist, no money changed hands, and now he has a job in the administration?

Nice try.

Yeah, I agree. Maybe 15 years ago, I would trust that the FBI had something that needed to be looked at.

But after watching the FBI destroyed General Flynn, and Peter struck and Lisa page fully exposed for what they are, only to get literally nothing punitive taken against them, and then financially rewarded in litigation afterwards.

I don’t think for the rest of my life I’ll ever truly trust anything coming out of the FBI, and I certainly don’t trust whatever BS they found about tom Holman here. Trump is done playing around, he’s done worrying about public perception on it, and I think he rightfully is going to Kabash any of this crap that comes out of the deep state.

Correction, the FBI paid him to lobby, and got no result?
Another FBI set up... they are filth.

But about Charlie Kirk, now they can be trusted. /s

so did he accept? Or say he would accept? And then what happened after that? Did he report it to the authorities? Did he intervene? Did he actually accept the money or just say he would accept the money, or just imply he would accept the money, or did he pretend to accept the money so he could leave there without getting harmed?

And who leaked the story?

Did anyone check his bank accounts? IF he was taking bribes, this would not be the only bribe he accepted, so follow the money.

Anything approved by the Autopen administration should be declared null and void.

It says he accepted $50,000. But, yeah, I’m suspicious of it being an actual story.

It was a setup from the beginning, but MSNBC doesn’t want to tell that story.

This sounds like a runaway FBI rogue setup out of the Biden era. Patel better get ahold of these renegades and lock them up. They ought to be working the Kirk case. Anyone who thinks Homan would compromise his reputation for 50K is crazier than a loon.

The reputation of the FBI is over.

The Whitmer plot, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, Turning Point USA, the Trump Campaign, and the Wildlife Refuge were all utterly infiltrated and a majority FBI informants. The Russia-gate hoax, planting evidence in the Mar-a-Lago “classified documents” case. The murder and coverup of Lavoy Finicum then finally admitting they shot him. The Draw Mohammed plot where they followed the islamic terrorists from Arizona to Dallas and never warned the local police. Luckily a local cop ON HIS OWN figured it out and prevailed in the gunfight as the FBI sat silently and watched. They protected Epstein. They knelt before BLM. They terrorized Americans over Covid and the January 6 protest.
For over a decade they have terrorized, schemed and lied.

They are now a political police formation, working against normal America. And Kash and Bongino are basically on the top of a large leftist unethical pyramid, trying their best.

Probably on his tax return as lobbying or consulting. And guaranteed his finances were looked at before he was nominated.

Hmmm. Sounds like the sort of thing that the FBI should disclose in the FBI background report on executive branch nominees. I’m sure the FBI made a full, timely, disclosure to President Trump.

/sarcasm

"The federal investigation was launched in western Texas in the summer of 2024 after a subject in a separate investigation claimed Homan was soliciting payments in exchange for awarding contracts should Trump win the presidential election" Homan, who served as acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement early in Trump’s first term, openly claimed during the 2024 campaign that he would play a prominent role in carrying out Trump’s promised mass deportations. ----------------- So according to this timeline the biden DOJ opens an investigation in the summer of 2024 for a guy openly bashing the autopen president's border policies at the time and also saying he would help soon to be President Trump secure the border if elected....yet somehow this story wasn't leaked to the press during the 2024 presidential campaign??? This is almost as good as the rats, who sat on the epstien files the past fours years, claiming something in those files incriminate Donald Trump....
