Pro-life warrior Lila Rose, the founder and president of Live Action, shocked organizers at leftist Ivy League Yale University during a debate with Frances Kissling, a former abortion clinic director and president of Catholics for Choice.
Before the event, Rose shared why she agreed to the debate in the unfriendly atmosphere of higher education.
“I will be going to Yale University to do a debate on abortion against the head of a pro-abortion group. I had originally said no to this event a few weeks ago. That’s because, as you guys may know, I don’t do a ton of in-person events because I have little ones at home, so I don’t travel very much. Got a lot of responsibilities with Live Action, with the podcast, everything else, but we tried to get somebody else to go to do the debate. We weren’t able to line somebody up.”
“Then last week, Charlie Kirk was assassinated.”

I hope that the Charlie Kirk effect reverberates for many years. His assassination may be a true turning point.
I just finished watching “Charlie Kirk: his last interview” on Fox News. It was before an audience of Restaurant owners. The interviewer is someone who owns many restaurants and heads an organization of entrepreneurs. I have even more respect for Charlie Kirk than I had before. It was not political at all. It was about being an entrepreneur. I’m still reeling from how Charlie answered the final question, requesting “ a quote you live by”.
Charlie gave two. The first was “this too shall pass“ which he said helps with humility when things are going great and helps with hope when things are going poorly.
The second was Romans 8:28 “God works all things for good for those who love him.“ Charlie went onto explain what he meant, ending with “and I surrender to His will“. I’m not sure how I will sleep tonight just thinking about the fact that Charlie Kirk was assassinated less than one hour after saying that.

No offense to Buffet, but the Roman Catholic Church needs no one to overthrow it, its doing that very well on its own without any outside help.
Well when your basis is “The fertilized egg is not human life” you’re kinda, well, stupid or lying.
Not that I would like to see a whole bunch of pictures of what abortions do to babies but I always think perhaps that should be shown to these women who think it’s a matter of choice or it’s ‘their bodies’ because these babies are without photos ‘invisible victims’.
Frankly, I’m surprised these women don’t put together what they are doing.
Watched it. Her opponent was a moron, Rose’s points were unassailable. Should be a must watch for every debate class. It won’t be… of course.
The other topic that should always be a slam dunk for conservatives is the leftist claim that the First Amendment erects a “wall of separation” that prohibits any expression of religious faith from taking place on any government property or with the assistance of any government resources. There are endless facts that disprove this notion, but the strongest ones have to do with how the authors of the First Amendment “Establishment Clause” acted immediately after ratifying the Bill of Rights, and long story short, their actions prove beyond any doubt that the liberal claims are exactly the opposite of the truth.
