Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10 at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, for having political conversations. That’s it. He was doing his trademark Q&A sessions, which were often heated but remained true to their mission, which was to maintain an open dialogue with those with whom we may disagree. Conversations are good, even if they’re not always the most pleasant. He was shot and killed by suspect Tyler Robinson, who was captured two days later, for exercising his First Amendment rights.
Since then, we’ve been subjected to an avalanche of ghoulish liberals celebrating his death. Some in the legacy media have tried to lie about this, going so far as to say no one is celebrating Kirk’s death online. Really? Is that why there’s been a trove of liberals losing their jobs or being placed on leave? The worst are the folks who think Robinson was a Kirk supporter. Independent reporter Michael Shellenberger had a lengthy post about how this happened, specifically how the left’s penchant to dehumanize conservatives has led to the rise in political violence. The polling points that out—liberals are six times more likely to endorse or support political violence. The Democrats have a problem, but it’s also a monster of their own making:
…the environment that led to Kirk’s death was created by the Left in its decades-long demonization and dehumanization of conservatives. For 80 years, schools, universities, and the media have used Hitler, Nazism, and fascism as symbols of ultimate evil. To call someone a “Nazi,” “fascist,” or “far-Right,” is therefore to imply that they are part of this evil, and like the historical Nazis, must be eliminated....

Once you dehumanize your opponent, it’s easy to do horrible things to them.
In a single word to illustrate - abortion.
Great post. This morning’s prior post bears relevance to the matter:

What’s Led to the Left’s Frenzy for Political Violence.
Losing the war for total control the 1984 plan didn’t sell.
Dehumanization is certainly a major factor but Charlie Kirk represented a further threat to the hard Left. He went into the lion’s den, challenged the leftists acolytes in public and demonstrated that not only could the acolytes not debate their beliefs, but even if they had marginal skills to attempt to counter Kirk’s arguments, they realized they were defending illogical positions which could not stand. He was a specific threat to college students who wanted to maintain their fantasies. For that, he had to die.
They kill our people, key our cars, bomb car dealerships, get us fired, cancel us and burn down cities...They hate us because we hold up a mirror to them showing them how awful they are...
The old Nazi formula: stigmatize, dehumanize, euthanize.
We have now reached the final phase.
About burning the bridge taken too far...
Nothing lights up the night so much as the bridge you just crossed over and set on fire. But remember, there is no retreat back over that bridge later. Swim the waters, or sink.
This is common to all nations leading up to waging war. It’s a psychological justification for hating your opposition enough to kill them.
The author should have gone further in his depiction of Kirk’s assassin. The LGBTQ activists exist to force popular acceptance of their unnatural lifestyles upon those in the majority who disapprove. They claim rights beyond those that legally apply to all and are now willing to do violence upon all who disagree. This will not end well for those taking up the sword.
We know which way the bullets are flying, from the left.
I'm not talking about differing nations, I'm talking about people in our own nation.
Is there an abortion nation of which I'm not aware or are there only abortion groups in our own nation?
Does this guy not understand the Nazis were not ‘’far-right’’ but far left?
