Halperin: ABC Pulling Kimmel A "Watershed" Moment For A Company That Pumped Out Anti-Trump Content For A Decade

2Way co-founder Mark Halperin on Wednesday's "Ingraham Angle" said he is shocked by the way Democrats and leftists continue to react to the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

"It takes a lot at this point in my career to stun me," Halperin told Ingraham. "I will say I'm stunned and shocked by their failure to and in the clip with President Obama, their failure to understand just how painful this is for people in this country who knew Charlie Kirk. And they continue to not understand it. They don't know what he accomplished. They don't know his heart. They don't know what he's about. And they're continuing to operate on one principle. If Donald Trump feels something, they hate it."

LAURA INGRAHAM, HOST: Mark Halperin, your reaction to the Democrats' attempt to try to grapple with this, especially someone you covered for eight years, Barack Obama.

MARK HALPERIN: I watched the clip of his remarks today and it, I found it nothing short of stunning. Look, as Barack Obama would say, look, not surprising. A party that's moved to the far left and for 10 years has not understood the appeal of Donald Trump and has failed to grapple, as Pogo would say, that the enemy is them.

Donald Trump's a great politician. He's done a lot of smart things tactically and strategically, but he won two out of three presidential elections because the Democratic Party has failed to understand where it's out of step with the American people. It takes a lot at this point in my career to stun me.

And, and I will say I'm stunned and shocked by their failure to and in the clip with President Obama, their failure to understand just how painful this...

Halperin is cagey character. He plays his cards close to the vest. I can't tell if he is pro-MAGA or anti-MAGA.

Probably center left, but he has a show on Youtube with Sean Spicer and Dan Turrentine which is pretty good. A mostly no BS show.

Halperin was shunned by his former buddies on PMSNBC and Morning Joe.

There were allegations of sexual harassment which were evidently not as gross as the ones leveled on Ted O’Baxter who rumor has it paid 38 million to Liz Wiehl over.

Halpern tends now to report on how Elite Stream Media reports the news than reporting the actual news.

In that field he is way better than Potato Head Stelter or Howie Kurtz.

Halpern’s column in today’s Daily Mail is excellent reporting about the details of the Jimmy Kimmel affair.

However, it is behind a paywall and you will need a paid subscription or a browser extension that bypasses paywalls.

A watershed moment but in ABC’s case it is raw sewage. Ick.

If the FCC rule that covers Kimmel’s lying to his audience was applied to every news program that airs, there wouldn’t be any news programs on the air.

He’s a has been jerk. Shame on Laura. He’s smug and arrogant. Got fired for groping women.

He practically cried when Hillary lost in 2016.
